We really enjoyed our stay at Mods House. We were impressed by the professional service and the hospitality with lots of help and guidance as to where to visit in the local area. The breakfast was fantastic - local produce and a wide selection served in an elegant dining room full of interesting artifacts from around the world. Highly recommended.

Stayed two nights on a journey July outward August return in 2013. I really enjoyed my stay both times in two different rooms. There was absolutely nothing to find fault with ;excellent all round. Rooms were clean and stylishly appointed with tea bottled water and toiletries . The owners were friendly and helpful both times sending me off with a hearty breakfast of local produce which is outstanding ( little tip is try the local butcher who also supplies the breakfast sausage which is outstanding and stock up on produce to take home.
The local pubs are well worth visiting and all give a warm welcome to tourists with friendly banter as you would expect from a good landlord.

Outstanding hospitality and will be back to stay with Jo and Duncan in the future.

As part of a 7 day trip to the UK we decided to base ourselves (a family of three) in Chipping Sodbury for four nights. At Moda House we found a warm welcome from Jo & Duncan who are exquisite hosts and the charm of a three hundred year old house full of character and beautifully kept. We were billeted in rooms 7 (double room) and 4 (single room) with a fantastic view of Chipping Sodbury's main street. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and spacious with period style furniture and great en-suite facilities. WiFi access was welcome and helped with some work issues! The breakfast made from locally sourced produce was freshly cooked and fortified us for the day's activities. Our hosts were extremely gracious to our requests and we thank them. We certainly hope to make a return visit someday.

Chipping Sodbury is a charming town with shops of all shapes and sizes selling everything from bread to loose tea and everything in between. The local information office is manned by volunteers who are fountains of knowledge about the general area and beyond.

Very much enjoyed our weekend in this clean and comfortable house which is full of character. Helpful, friendly hosts and delicious breakfasts. We stayed in Room 3 which we were warned was small - as indeed it was - but not a problem for us. It is a delightfully appointed room with a great view down the High Street and as we were only there for 2 days- and out most of the time - it was more than adequate for our needs. Had no trouble parking nearby on the wide High Street - which is free - an added bonus! Chipping Sodbury is a pretty little town with a good variety of restaurants and pubs and all only about 25 minutes drive to Bristol City Centre.

I stayed here for a couple of weeks. The B&B is located in High Street and therefore, at stone's throw distance to all pubs and restaurants. The hosts are very warm and welcoming. The house is very old but well renovated. The stay was a comfortable one (room 3), but if i go there next time, i am definitely picking room 2 (the best one). The full English Breakfast was sumptuous and as they say in germany "lecker!". I definitely recommend this B&B. BTW parking is free on High Street.

Room Tip: Room 2, if you have the budget, otherwise Room 3 !

Having been invited to a party and no where to stay we turned to trip advisor. After taking into account the reviews we booked this delightful 'guest house' in Chipping Sodbury and were not disappointed! The accommadation is comfortable, clean, beatifully decorated and interestingly furnished. Mine hosts were warm and welcoming giving us some useful information regarding the surrounding area to help us make the most out of our short break. The breakfast served in the delightful dining room provided us with plenty of choice of delicious well cooked food and yes the marmalade is delicious. I was some what wary with regard it being situated directly on the high street and the lack of parking facilities however it was peaceful at night and there was no problem parking on the high street there was always space available within easy access to the house. I can recommend this lovely property Moda house as an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area Bristol, Bath and the Cotswolds - all within easy reach.
