“Highlight at the end of an impressing visit to SA”
Reviewed 7 October 2011

After a warm welcome we were hosted with care and eagerness.
The meals were prepared with professionality and were composed perfectly.
The service was always prepared to be at help.
The tours into the "wilderness" were accompanied by a female ranger, Deanne, who showed us a huge amount of animals and plants and told us a lot about her love with the living in the nature.
We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you all for taking care of us.

The Hlosi lodge is the best place we stayed in South Africa. Especially we appreciate the warm welcome, the delicious dinners & breakfasts, the game drive with experienced rangers (Thanks Diane!), the view on the nature directly from the hot tub and all the little details that make this few days unforgettable.

Room Tip: All rooms are fantastic as they are separate "chalet".

We were really warmly welcomed. The staff is really professional and friendly. The ranger was really professional, enthusiastic and we have seen really wonderful animals and landscapes. The rooms are great, clean, confortable... The meals were really good with a meat we will never forget... Nothing was wrong, everything was perfect!
I hope to be able to come back once more in this paradise.

The staff was so friendly and also our girls (9 and 12 years) felt warmly welcomed by everybody! Our ranger was very enthusiastic and offered us unforgettable moments with the wildlife! The rooms were spectacular and very clean! Even the meals were perfect!
Actually, we would highly recommend the Holsi Lodge to everybody!! And we definitely hope to be able to come back one day! Thanks to Roelof, Andree, Dennis and the whole staff!!

Room Tip: Our lodge at the very end offered the best view!

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The lodge made the best use of our time here with game drives every night and morning. Our ranger, Andre, made sure we saw everything on the reserve. We saw rhino, elephants, lions, cheetah, giraffe, tortoise, zebra...and the list goes on and on. Andre took his time on the drives to make sure we saw the animals and plants properly and told us evrything he could about them -no "ferrari safari" for us!!

The food and accommodation were just amazing. Given we had a light breakfast at 6am before our morning drive, tea break on the drive, brunch at 11 when we got back, high tea before our afternoon drive, wine and beer on our afternoon drive, and then dinner, we were never hungry!!!

The rooms were fabulous - there's nothing like having a jacuzzi bath watching the elephants and wart hogs wandering by...heaven..wish I was there now...

Thank you to Roelof, Andre and the rest of the team.

The accomodation at Hlosi is simply royal. The suites, dining room and service is over par with 5 star hotels and the thatched roof suites-homes feel authentic and genuinely placed in the middle of the wild-life! The park is beautiful, although doesn't have many cats or Rhinos; Our group went for two rides and we Saw a lion, elephants, giraffes etc, but no cheetah or Rhino.
