The hotel is ideal for a honeymoon. The setting is spectacular and the hotel has everything we were looking for. We stayed 15 nights in a beach villa and wished it had been longer. The staff were excellent in all departments. Paul & Sally

Room Tip: We stayed in a beach villa on the island which was private but well located for all facilities

We returned from our 10 night honeymoon at Four Seasons Anahita last week. To say it was incredible is an understatement. Not only was our ocean view villa lovely with stunning views and cleaned daily to a high standard, but the food was sensational and the staff were second to none.
We have never been made to feel so special or so much part of a family in all our lives.
Robisen at Bambou, Prakash and Pravesh from the pool, Rony with the waffles, Tina with our daily breakfast, Pierre and Blyth at the golf course - to name but a few- all played a big part in making our honeymoon such a memorable one.
We cannot thank you all enough and cannot speak highly enough of the resort as a whole. We hope one day we can return and see you all again, not to mention to see Mauritius again as it is a beautiful place.
Thank you for such a great start to our married life!

Wow where to start . What a fantastic place ,to do as much or as little as you want. Having already been spoilt as a honeymoon couple by Emerates airlines we then arrived at the Four Seasons Mauritius . To say the service is first class is an understatement . The staff are second to no others in the world . From arrival it seemed that all the staff knew our names and addressed us such everywhere we went in the complex . The food is fantastic in all three resturants ,all with different styles of menus . There is no end of little touches that just make the place a little bit more special than the day before. We will be back I'm sure in the future . And just finally should you happen to play golf and we do not you will be blown away by the place . Just one thing to note , drinks are pricey . That's not a complaint but an observation .

Rooms wonderful we enjoyed a sea view 1 bedroom which was very spacious, pool only small but not an issue with the sea and main pools. Nice bathroom and changing room and great outside shower. Gym was a very high spec and the classes were excellent. We were provided bikes to get around the resort which was good fun. The small game fishing was very relaxing.

Room Tip: Go for the sea view rooms its worth it

It was truly wonderful experience during our stay at the Four Seasons Mauritius at Anahita.
Our spacious villa was well equipped with perfect location and very cosy settings. Food in all three restaurants was really delicious. Hotel staff was polite, friendly and always very helpful and caring. To move better around resort you may use bicycles, which was very convenient. Golf course was in great condition and really well maintained. Even with occasional rain this resort was perfect experience. Highly recommended !!!

Room Tip: Villa 401 - just perfect !

The resort was amazing, we stayed in a beach villa and the photos really don't do it justice! I was actually a little worried as the photo just looked like a patch of grass in front of a little house but it really is incredible! From the bathroom and the bed you can see all the way to the beach (which is just beyond the grassed area), so while you feel secluded in your villa, you can still see the great view. The villa itself was really beautiful and just perfect to unwind. We have a funny thing when we go to these places and count the 'relaxation stations'- the number of areas in the villa you can relax and with the deck chairs on the beach, on the grassed area, the indoor and outdoor showers, the day bed, plunge pool etc etc we got to 15! Very hard not to unwind!

The service was impeccable, everyone was really lovely and friendly and they all new our names which took a bit of getting used to but was really nice. Simmi was our concierge and organised any activities we wanted to do and did a great job, all very well organised. The bar staff were also amazing and if I can give you one piece of advice it is to make the most of happy hour (well actually it goes pretty much all night!)! The cocktails are 2 for the price of 1 and canapes and nibbles (included/ free) are amazing!!!! They even remembered I was vegetarian and brought me my own special ones! The only problem was we were always full before we got to dinner but it was so lovely looking at the view with a nice cocktail and nibbles!

The only thing that annoyed us a little was the taxi services arranged by the hotel. We asked how much it would be for a transfer from our previous hotel to the 4 Seasons and they gave us a price for a private 'luxury vehicle' or a normal taxi, yet when we asked the hotel we were staying in how much a taxi would be it was half the price! Obviously I know it is a nice/ expensive resort but surely a taxi is a taxi and it was just really annoying that they would double the price because they know that you can afford it!
We stayed in a different area for 4 days before this and we hired taxi's numerous times and it was around 2000 rupee to hire a taxi for the day, yet any transport organised by the hotel started at double that! I went for a horse ride and it cost twice as much for the taxi ride to and from the resort (around 20 mins) as it did for the horse treck! We were also pretty unhappy with the private driver we got, he was so arrogant! We had hired him for a tour of the north part of the island which cost almost 5000 rupees and every time we had seen the touristy thing and were ready to go to the next place we would have to go and find him! Once we had to wake him up as he was sleeping in the car, another time he was chatting to his friends and even when he had seen us he just kept chatting, then slowly got up, shook everyone's hands said good bye while we were just standing there watching, another time we saw his car but couldn't find him anywhere! It was only when one of his friends asked if we wanted a taxi and we pointed to his car that his friends went and got him! I know this is a rant but in our previous stay, most of our day trips came to 1600-2000 rupees, the taxi drivers were friendly, explained about the sights and were ALWAYS waiting- even when we went for a 3 hour hike and really didn't know when we would be back, as we walked out of the national park, he was driving down the driveway and the door opened! If I can give you some advice, it would be to specifically ask for a taxi as otherwise they will give you a 'luxury vehicle' for twice the price, twice the arrogance and half as friendly!

Anyway, we did the day trip on the first day and then decided that as long as you didn't leave the resort it was awesome! I can't fault anything in terms of service or accommodation, they were amazing! Maybe a few more vegetarian options at the restaurants would be my only suggestion! The free watersports and snorkelling trips were great, and when you were just lying on the beach thinking 'I could go a cocktail' someone would just magically pop up behind you and ask if they could get you anything! We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it. :)

I visited this place for my honeymoon...both me and my husband were just blown away by the beauty of the resort and our villa in particular
We had heard a lot of great reviews about the place but the beauty of the resort and the hospitality of the staff was beyond anything we could think of. It was a fairy tale stay, with loads of surprises from my husband ...be it the romantic candle lit dinner on the beach ....the scintillating decoration in the villa ...just want to thank four seasons for making it so perfect...hope you guys maintain your greatest asset ...your amazing hospitality!!!!
