“Everything good, except food”

We went in late September for 7D/6N. I picked this hotel as it shares (actually i believe it is the same owner) the golf course with Four Seasons. All-you-can-play golf on both Anahita golf course and the one on Ile aux Cerfs. Superb course condition and excellent service attitude. Also a lot of free water activities. We stayed on the top floor in a 3-bedroom unit but since there were only two of us, they locked the other 2 rooms. Cosy living room and a fully-equipped kitchen. The nearest supermarket is about 15 min drive in Bel Air, a new and bigger Winner's is another 15 min drive at Flacq Shopping Mall. Food quality during the dinner seving is probably our only compliant about this hotel. It is buffet setting with a theme every night. Besides the BBQ food that doesn't require much cooking skills, I reckon that they tend to over-cook everything or it maybe a way to make sure the food a safe. I had for more than once, needed to stop the chef from talking and hand me back the dry and over done food.

Room Tip: All seaview rooms are facing the East, the room can be already quite hot in early morning.

We stayed as a large family group when my nephew married a Mauritian. Our bookings were messed up, with none of the requests we'd made and confirmed actually being adhered to, with the result that we waited several hours to check in, had to make do with 2 bedroom instead of 3 bedroom villas and we were spread all over the resort. The resort itself is lovely, but the service levels need attention.Dire and certainly not a patch on other 5-star properties in Mauritius such as the One and Only, St Geran, Four Seasons and St Regis.

Room Tip: The golf course facing rooms are beautifully quiet.

We stayed in one of the 4 bedroom villas with pool. It was superbly appointed and had brilliant facilities for the family.
Golfing was very good and the kids club was fun for the children.
The kitchen was kitted out well and enabled us to prepare meals hassle free. On arrival we received a super fruit basket which was devoured by the kids in moments; a wonderful touch.

The bedrooms were roomy and had effective AC units. The bathrooms were very clean and modern and ensured we all felt refreshed and revived at the end of busy days.

The private pool was very nice although a little chilly however the heated pool in the main area of the resort was a dream for the entire family.
There is a quiet beach which is great for the little ones with its shallow warm waters.

Room Tip: Overlooking the golf course is lovely as you immediately have a fantastic feeling of space and freed...

We stayed for 10 days in August and were very reluctant to leave at the end of our stay. Our suite was a real home from home with all the comforts and more that you would expect. The resort is laid out amongst beautiful gardens and has its own private beach as well as another private beach a short boat trip away. Even with the resort almost full during our stay it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves, the beach often only being used by ourselves and five others. There are a wide range of activites available, from the wonderful golf course to a huge selection of watersports. The staff were outstanding in their courtesy and couldn't do enough for us and always made us feel welcome and pampered. The resort's restaurant is also outstanding. While the breakfast buffet choices aren't huge they are of great quality and freshness and if you want something in particular they are happy to accomodate. In the evening there is a different theme every night but whatever the style of cuisine it is excellent and varied, the quality of the meat in particular being very impressive. The level of service rivalled and maybe even surpassed Michelin starred restaurants we've visited. One criticism was that there was occassionally a lack of communication. On more than one occassion we ordered a taxi and it did not turn up and on another we were given bad advice regarding a trip. However apart from that the staff were excellent. It is also worth noting that the resort is a little remote from any major towns and there is little in the way of nightlife however being a family resort that wasn't a concern for us.

We stayed for 2 nights from July 24-26, 2013 with our large family spread out over 4 separate 3-bedroom villas. The villas were modern, clean & spacious. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, and the large kitchen was convenient for eating as a group. Our huge balcony had two lounge chairs, a plunge pool, and outdoor dining and seating area - all overlooking the ocean!

The resort itself is spread out beautifully, breakfast offers gourmet selections and the double infinity pool is gorgeous (& heated!) The complimentary hourly boat shuttle to & from Ile aux Cerfs is extremely convenient. The private beach for Anahita at Ile aux Cerfs is pretty, but very quiet (and the waves are quite choppy). The public beach at Ile aux Cerfs (2nd stop) has shallow & calm waters and is more lively - with restaurants, shops & ample water activities.

Service everywhere was top-notch. Tasty iced tea & cold towel upon check-in registration, lovely welcome letter in room and snacks waiting in the villa, bottled water and fresh towels delivered nightly. Many family members used the free bike rentals to explore the nearby area. Lastly, we golfed one day at Anahita, and the Four Seasons course was absolutely breathtaking.

5 stars all around - we only wish we could have stayed a bit longer!

Room Tip: We stayed in villa 1504 - gorgeous ocean view on the 2nd floor.

Spent over a week with family, beautifully appointeded apartments suitable for families, with backyard sloping down to sea, many water sports included as part of the package - such as waterskiing, kayaks and snorkeling - which involved driving into the bay in a speed boat to reefs and was breathtaking , staff unfailingly polite but some communication difficulties - like when we wanted to sail hobbie cats or snorkle and it looked like the staff weren't interested they would say that the tide was wrong, come back tomorrow, or asking for tea or soap or a DVD and be referred on to housekeeping who would always say "yes sir", but not always know what you were asking for .
The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the beach is how you would imagine a tropical beach to be, palm- fringed with sun lounge chairs, an infinity pool - but we were in the low season and some times it was eerily empty. Sports facilities - tennis courts, bicyles, golf course, water sports - easily available with helpful staff and in good condition.

Overall a calming, well-maintained resort, pleasant staff and luxury accomodation we had a great holiday.
