The hotel is located at the beach in the new part of Haiyang which was, I believe, builded mainly because of the 3rd Asian Beach Games. This new part of Haiyang is clean and nice, full of flowerbed and Asian Beach Games emblems but there are almost no people on the wide streets and boulevards. A lot of buildings and houses in this area are under construction or empty.
The hotel is situated at the end of the beach, near the 3rd Asian Beach Games venues. The rooms are quite clean, with balcony towards the sea. Breakfast for me, as an european girl, are terrible, since there is no "normal" food except eggs and kiwi juice. Chinese breakfast is something completely different then our breakfast, composed from noodles, rice, boiled vegetable, rice soup and many more strange stuff... I don't mind to eat chinese food during the day but not in the morning!
Staff is quite friendly but they almost don't speak English so it's hard to communicate with them. If you know what to order in the restaurant definetely try the hotel kitchen. The food has good quality. In front of the hotel, there is a swimming pool, however I don't think anybody swims there since the pool is very dirty and unkept.
