At the outset, the ‘resort’ is not in Kasauli. It is about 6kms short of Dharampur, a centre-point from where one decides whether to head to Kasauli (abt.25kms) or Solan(abt.23kms) / Shimla. The ‘resort’ overlooks the highway.
The ‘resort’ is something more than a hotel but much less than a ‘resort’…since it lacks spa facilities, play-area, etc.
Take care in checking out the overpriced room tariff, which seemed on a higher side to us. Nevertheless, a good bargain encouraged us to check-in at the Garden side of the room, on the 3rd floor! Surely, one could lose a few kgs.with a 3night 44 day stay! But this side of the ‘resort’ is worth staying as it is much peaceful than other rooms. Most of the standard and deluxe rooms face the highway (rather on the highway) and your good night’s sleep may be disturbed by the overloaded trucks struggling to drive uphill.
Still, the above negatives should not refrain you from enjoying a pleasant stay at rooms with modern facilities, in terms of superior tiling, spacious, thoughtfully planned layout, clean bathroom, LCDs (Deluxe rooms), etc.
A special mention of the gardener who has superbly maintained well the only small garden in the premises.
We ordered room service for breakfast and the food was above average.
All in all, a great place to stay if you can bargain well at this ‘resort’.

Room Tip: Rooms on the Garden side are quieter.

I visited this place in July 2011 last year and had pre booked it. The hotel is really good for the price it offers and the best part apart from the scenic view is the food

Their food tastes great. I have never been to any hotel in Kasauli which serves such good food.

The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were hygienic which is great

Overall good value for money.

They serve India, Chinese, Mughlai and all of them are good.

I stayed here for 2 days and 1 night

The manager Mr. sharma is very helpful and was very concerned about our comfort and feedback.

Overall great

Room Tip: Choose the super deluxe ac rooms as it gets bit hot here in summers. otherwise the layout of the hotel is very good
