This was the worst trip ever! We booked this for 2 adults and 3 children aged 4-10. As this was the rainy season I had doubts about paying so much money and what the conditions would be like, so I asked them if the water would be calm like in the photos on the brochure. They said yes, when we got there it was as if a tsunami had hit. We walked through knee dip water on the island and rubbish floated amongst our legs. We got taken to the 'calm' snorkelling area which was not calm at all. There were rough waves, boats almost slamming into people and rubbish in the water. Big chunks of wood and metal floated by. It was so unsafe and filthy. We didn't snorkel at all and tried to find somewhere to sit. We were shown to a little shack which had a few stools. We sat there amongst stacked up beach chairs for over 2 hours, with children who were crying, disappointed about not being able to snorkel. I asked the tour guide to take us back but she said she couldn't. When we finally got back to the island I expressed my disappointment. She took me into her office, begged me not to say anything and gave me one child's ticket refunded. I told her that she should go out and tell all the people who are getting ready to go on their half day tour that it is cancelled and they will be refunded. She said she would. She didn't. Instead, she sent out a worker to sell bags of fish food to the next victims. This was our last day in Phuket and it put a very sour taste in our mouth about Thailand.
