I am a corporate trainer and keep travelling to locations to conduct out bound trainings (OBT). Quality Inn is a great place, about 29kms from Ramnagar. This is on the other side of he Corbet Forest Reserve, a lesser visited place but surely a great place.
The staff led by Mr. Hari Singh leave no chance for complaints... each and every wish is taken as a command and fulfilled.
One can hire a jeep for a safari and more often than not, a sighting is possible because of the fact that this place is less frequented.
This is surely the best I have been to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The rooms and amenities are excellent. The lush green environment and river side location fills you with a sense of peace and tranquility. However, the hotel is very far from Corbett National Park and away from the offices of the Forest Department. We only spent one night there but could not enjoy because of reaching late in the night and then getting up early to make the passes for entry into Corbett. But, next day was very enjouable being in a picturesque environment. Location is very private and good for honeymooners and romance. Being very close to jungle, expect pests like lizards, monkeys, etc. and do not be alarmed.

Ok i am a frequent visitor to corbett. I generally go there every 3-4 months on an average.
Here is my take on Quality Inn ( also known as " the den")

Location - One of the best. Unlike back to back hotels in Dhikuli this place is quite far and is located in reserve forest area. Though i still have to try places like camp riverwild or forktail creek, but in terms of commercial hotels, the location is just awesome.

Rooms - Rooms are pretty spacious with a different style of decor. Most of the rooms are designed in a way that they get isolated from the rest ( unless you are going for two interconnected rooms). Each room has a small private balcony and a roof top to give a feel of home.

Food - Pretty nice. Infact in most of the resorts in corbett, food is usually not an issue.

Staff - Just amazing. Very hospitable and would always provide services best in class. Their attitude is very cooperative.

Facilities - They dont accept credit cards and they dont have wireless internet though overall the facilities are pretty much at par. They do arrange for jungle safari and elephant safari.

Ambience - If you are one of those who look for a good crowd, this is not a place. Their so called music carnival facility sucks big time. They have no sense of what kind of music to play.

Overall - Its a good place to stay if you are looking for privacy while still looking for a cottage type of a room ( rather than a mud hut).Considering the cost involved, i would say try it once and you will know the difference.

Amazing place to stay. The location of resort is amazing away from all the resorts. Cottages are very comfortable and the best place to relax. I went their with my friends and enjoyed at the fullest. Staff is very courteous and helpful. They helped us making all the arrangements for safaris even though we dint not book safaris in advance. I would also suggest the readers to book the safaris in advance to make the trip even better.

I with my family and one of my friends family planned to visit corbett and stay in this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel rooms/ service is so bad that we left the hotel just in few hrs.
We reached hotel early morning around 2 AM. The room which was given to us was in terrible state. Bed was horrible and just 4 hr of sleep was good to give back pain. Bathroom was stinking. We complained in the night itself and we were promised that they will do something in morning. We talked to them in morning and they refused to change the room. We talked to people staying in room adjacent to us and we got similar feedback.

We then requested to arrange a safari and we were told that they can't do it and this need to be done directly. While when we booked the room (just couple of days back), we were told that they would arrange that once we check-in to hotel and there would not be any issue.

Finally we decided to vacate this place at around 10 AM (just in 8 hr) and went to Ranikhet as there was no point wasting time in this hotel.

I am totally disappointed with this hotel. They runied our vacation. These folks do not have any ethics.
