“Lovely”
Reviewed 5 June 2017 for a stay in June 2017

We had a lovely week staying at the Milk House at the end of May beginning of June. Thank you Becca for your warm welcome and brilliant ideas of places to visit and what to do during our stay. The accomodation was lovely with everything you could possibly need. It was very comfortable for all three generations of our family - the grandparents were very comfortable in the downstairs rooms and there was plenty of space for us all. We enjoyed cooking meals and playing board games in the well equipped Kitchen/diner and enjoyed a couple of BBQs in the garden.

My two boys (6 and 8) loved the garden, trampoline, woods and we all really appreciated the farmer allowing us to feed the lambs. We enjoyed spending time in the evening enjoying the view from the woods and toasting marshmallows on a fire.

Well equipped and lovely accomodation in a beautiful setting with plenty to do in the surrounding area for all the family.

“Fantastic weekend stay”
Reviewed 26 January 2017 for a stay in January 2017

A great location, we didn't want to leave! The bedrooms were amazing and the downstairs double bedroom and adjacent bathroom was great for accessibility.
The large kitchen area was great for playing card games whilst cooking our meals. We really enjoyed our stay and home to visit again soon!

“Superb conversion of former Milk House into delightful holiday home”
Reviewed 2 November 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Made extremely welcome from the beginning by Rebecca. Everything as advertised and previous reviews gave an accurate picture. Very comfortable beds and good quality furnishings; kitchen had all that was needed to prepare lovely meals for the three generations; grandchildren loved the garden and the adjacent fields - as did our daughter's Labrador. Didn't need to travel far as we were happy to be all together as a family with the bonus of our Wiltshire family coming to visit us from Marlborough. Lovely peaceful location. Just take all the past reviews at face value and you'll arrive prepared for a relaxing, enjoyable home-from-home holiday. Nothing more to add, it's all been said before and I was pleased to see that guests since our May visit have enjoyed The Milk House as much as we did.

Liked best: The relaxing, comfortable ambience and facilities for three generations to enjoy our family get-together.
Liked least: Sloping ceiling in upstairs bathroom but downstairs wet room made up for this.

“Comfortable and spacious for a family”
Reviewed 4 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Our retinue comprised my wife and I, our two daughters and their husbands and our granddaughter. The downstairs bedroom was near enough to the "nursery" bedroom for our daughter to keep an ear out for our granddaughter. The nursery was far enough away from the kitchen and living room that the granddaughter was not disturbed by the clinking of glasses or the laughter from the games. The house was well equipped for the granddaughter with a good selection of toys. The garden was a treat as it is very big, safe and has a trampoline. The sheep in the adjacent field were also an attraction.
there is plenty to do in the area so we hope to organise another visit.

“Perfect bank holiday weekend!”
Reviewed 2 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

I stayed in the milk house with my parents, husband, 2 year old son and 3 year old golden retriever, over the August bank holiday weekend. We found the house easily, and what a house it was! We have stayed in many holiday rentals and this is the best one in terms of space that we have found so far. 4 bedrooms, one a single room day bed on the ground floor which was perfect for my 2 years old. Greatly equipped kitchen and wonderful outside space, enjoyed by all of us. The only possible downside was the bathroom upstairs had a slopping ceiling, fine for us but if you are very tall you may struggle but there is another shower room downstairs, which we all happily used. Becca was available during our stay for any questions but did not impose so it was the best of both worlds. Our dog also made some friends with her resident dogs bandit and barney. If you are thinking of booking here, don't hesitate you won't regret it!
