“Fantastic place to stay!”
Reviewed 2 January 2018 for a stay in January 2018

Beautiful house in a idyllic location, and really has everything you could need! Ideal for anyone wanting a quiet few days in the countryside.

Everything was clean and tidy, kitchen is modern & spacious, lounge is warm & cosy.

No issues with the cottage being cold - the central heating worked fine and can be adjsted / overriden if needed. Logs for the log burner are also supplied for free!

Rebecca is lovely and really tries to cater for her guests. We have been twice now and always have a fabulous time, we are already looking forward to coming back again!

Management Response
29 Dec 2017
I am so sorry you left early, and we do hope you can come back! As I said in my email we would, of course, give you a reduction after having to leave early. I am just so sorry you felt a bit cold, we have only had complaints of it being too hot before! It is a listed building that we had rebuilt with modern specifications so it is double glazed everywhere, two radiators in almost every room and the log burner with all the logs included, perhaps the radiators had been turned down too much from the people the week before and I hadn't noticed. As I said we would love to see you again.

“Our third time and for sure our adopted holiday home”
Reviewed 11 September 2017 for a stay in August 2017

yet again we have had a great stay at The Milk House
We stayed from 19th August for 9 nights.
Due to its location, we get to see our son and daughter in law and our wonderful grandchildren who live 20 minutes away.
Apart from one day we were blessed with warm weather again.
We made full use of all the house , bedrooms and wonderful garden and orchard as we had a mixture of visitors over the 10 days.

The Milk House is a perfect house
great for couples, great for friends to stay, great for extended family to stay.
Great for children.

The house has everything you could want and it is immaculate.
it is located in the wonderful village of Erlestoke, which itself is surrounded by lots of other little villages but the house is in easy reach of all the major towns.

Rebecca and her family are so welcoming but they leave you in peace to enjoy your break.

I am afraid we have totally fallen in love with this place, we stay in cottages for all of our holidays up and down the country but we are always drawn back here.

We will be back!!

“Great home away from home”
Reviewed 7 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Had a fantastic week staying in the Milk House. The location is great, rural enough to be peaceful but close enough to everything to allow you to explore. There are plenty of walks from the cottage and loads of things for the kids to do, on the trampoline, playing in the garden, feeding the lambs and cows - the list is endless. The cottage is well equipped and has everything you need to really feel like you're at home and the Rebecca was a wonderful host. She took time to explain everything when we arrived and you always felt she was there if you needed anything without being intrusive. We all had a great time and i'd like to think we will be back in the future.
