Lovely food, plenty of choice and well presented. The restaurant was not overcrowded with tables and everything clean. I would think a lovely place to eat in the summer.

Would eat here again

Very good food was delivered with great service by the two ladies who looked after us. Very attentive and friendly, and the Owner made a point of introducing himself and checking how our meal was going, which was a very nice touch. Being a lover of hot food they even made my curry to a strength to suit me!
The fish and chips were amazing, the best batter my partner has ever tasted and a very generous portion.
Good food in contemporary, relaxed surroundings. Would definitely return.

Pub food that us pricey and tasteless. Ranges from £5 for a starter to at least £11 for a main - expensive Beefeater food! I'm afraid nothing to write home about and a sterile atmosphere and just not a real pub or even a good restaurant. Absolutely no local ambience you could have been in one of a 1000 faceless places - give it a miss there are loads of better pubs around.

We were staying in the village of Sedgeford and decided to try the pub for a meal on our first night. The bar area didn't look particularly inviting but the dining area was lovely - big tables so we weren't cramped, warm without being too stuffy, and good size dining areas. Service was very attentive but not pushy, and at no point did we feel rushed. Menu choice was excellent - game, meat, vegetarian, salads ... and the food was very good. The venison and the duck were both excellent, as was the salmon. For me, the only down-side was that the vegetables were slightly overcooked. Having said that, we so enjoyed our meal that we went back again on the second night, and again it was a difficult decision as to what to choose! Sadly, the vegetables were the same selection as we had had the previous night ... but do try the chips - they are excellent!!
