My wife and I visited the new Lambton Worm restaurant on its opening week. The decor and ambience is very relaxing, the choice of food superb, (everything from fish to rib-eye steak) all cooked superbly. Service was very good (and only been open two days) and the really enjoyable part of our visit was the friendliness of the staff (Keely especially). Would highly recommend a visit and is a must if you like real ales (5 on sale). Won,t be long before we make another visit.

Went for early family dinner on Saturday (first weekend it opened). Spent time in bar first and sampled the cask beer, all very good. Pub modernized but hasn't lost its charm. Restaurant dining room has nice ambience. Went for early bird 3 courses including drink for £9.99 which is amazing value. Will be trying ala carte next time or Sunday lunch. Execellent new local pub/restaurant.
