“Idyllic tranquility in a beautiful setting”
Reviewed 10 May 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Set high in the stunningly beautiful Forest of Dean with the garden overlooking the majestic river Severn, it would be difficult to imagine a more idyllic spot to 'chill out'.
No traffic noise and only the rustle of the wind through the trees to disturb the silence.
We stayed at apple blossom time and so took very many photographs but the location is breathtaking at any part of the year.
On arriving, we were greeted by very friendly hosts who we never saw again, (except by coincidence). There was a welcome pack of provisions including a loaf of local gorgeous bread and we found the kitchen to be well stocked with tools and electrical gadgets which all worked. The well stocked DVD's and book library was brilliant and we look forward to returning again for another wonderful holiday.

A great property in a super location. Many varied things around to do.

The cottage was very well equipped and the owners couldn't have been more helpful.
