This November 2013 I was a guest at this hotel for a second time. what is my opinion? Simply this hotel has failed in many aspects in the past three years.
Rooms
Below are the pictures, as a proof of my opinion. I can see destroyed furniture and wallpaper, stains on the carpet, old TV type “strimon”which is practically not usable, partially clean shower ... and please be aware that this pictures are from deluxe room. Please be aware that these images are from the deluxe room. Can you imagine what is a quality of the standard room?
The first impression when you enter the room is that the decorative wallpapers are too dark and suffocating the room. The curtains are not ironed and full of dust, they smell on something ugly and dust y. The same holds for the bed linens are old, thinned and smells unpleasant.
Staff
The staff is impolite and lazy.
Spa
Respect for the Spa center , which is excellent with special respect to the mineral pools. The Swedish sauna and the infrared sauna are very small (for 3 people ) and not well held.
Imagine, it is allowed to take only one towel and if you ask to change the wet towel with dry one, the lazy blond girl will answered that is not possible. Why? The answer is: the policy of the hotel.
Warning, for bath in the swimming pool you should have a swimming cap which cost an additional 3 Euros.
Food
Breakfast was good.
The dinner was plentiful without possibility to choose a meal (we had HB). The waiters are non helpful and they have all the time sarcastic smile ( something like, what you want now?) , simply they want to collect plates and to finish duties as soon as possible.
Advice, don't take a HB, it is much better to have only a breakfast.
Definitely this hotel should not have 5 stars, is not worth for those prices.

Situated in a rather dilapidated area just 2 blocks away from the town center. Rooms are big enough but uneven flooring, a broken chair back and a leaking toilet tank are things one is not supposed to find in a 5-star hotel room, right?
SPA center excellent! Great opportunities for balneologic amd other kinds of treatment (detox, massage, etc.). Staff quite polite and friendly.
The gym only has a treadmill, a stepper and some weights, so if are into working out, this is definitely not the place for you.
Food was OK, but again, having breakfast on tablecloths with food stains from the previous night dinner is sth you wouldn't expect. Also waiters were rather slow and there seemes to be total lack of coordination between the restaurant staff and the reception desk regarding consumption when you pay your bill upon checking out.
Overall this is not a bad place to stay, but awarding it five stars must have been a very bad joke....

We visited this hotel a couple of times these last years and we liked it a lot as the mineral water in its spa pools is really unique. It smells of sulphur and cannot be drank, but is very beneficial for all kinds health issues, back pain etc. However when somethings started to fall apart nothing was renewed or mended. Rooms copy the style of the Sacher hotel in Salzburg, but when they were used and not renewed they turned sloppy, small tiles fall constantly from pool walls and may even hurt children, overall there is a depressive look to the once fine hotel property. The mineral water remains the same, but only we could not notice the marks of time on all the rest. In addition to this, at present, hygiene is not adequate, breakfast is scarce, so is dinner if you have it in your tourist package. All in all, not adequate for a 5 star hotel.

The hotel is a five minute walk from the centre of the town.Rooms are very nice but they are not big enough for a five star hotel, breakfast was good but also not a five star.SPA is very good and we enjoyed in the swimming pool, and specially in the "Rome bath".The hotel is very nice and i had a good time, but it was a little bit too expensive, and maybe it should be classified as a for star hotel.
