We would recomend this B&B to anyone, The village is beautiful, the house wonderful and the owners Guy and Jane could not do enough to make our stay there a really lovely time. They had a an excellent knowledge of the surrounding area, and even phoned a pub by the river severn to confirm the time of the Severn Bore, which was a suprise for my wife who had always wanted to see it. We could not have picked a better place - EXCELLENT

Wonderful to be back again, lovely friendly welcome, very comfortable, clean and warm. A real home from home feeling.
A really good breakfast. Tythe House is in a beautiful village location, so quiet and peaceful.
Will definitely be back again.

Room Tip: There are 2 first floor rooms and one ground floor. All rooms are spacious.

We arrived at Tythe House and received a very warm welcome. We were made to feel at home straight away in this really pleasant country setting. The bedroom was outstanding, large spacious and exceptionally clean. The breakfast was terrific with plenty to eat. Tea and coffee making available in the bedroom. We would definitely recommend this place with five stars!

Jane and Guy gave us a very warm welcome. They have a lovely house with a pleasant garden in this delightful village. We had the downstairs room which is spacious with windows on 2 sides. The room above has a very creaky floor which Jane warns about but not much of a problem if the guests are considerate. Breakfast is good quality, served in a lovely dining room.

Room Tip: First floor room probably better

I had a great night. The evening suggestions for eating were first class. The hosts were fun. The room was generous. I enjoyed the breakfast and as value for money 5 stars. I will book again.

For us, a dutch couple from noisy Amsterdam, it was marvelous to stay in Tythe House: so very rural, quiet, at the end of the village, a kind of cul de sac.
Also the nice conversations with Jane and the other guests were warming, while Guy was preparing delicious breakfasts.
It's nice to return to after a day in the Cotswolds or the river Wye region.
We surely hope to come back again!
Thank you,
Els & Willem

Our second visit to this excellent Bed and Breakfast in what must be one of the most typical English villages in the country - down to cricket on the green by the pub. Etiquette demands that you stop your car whilst the bowler runs in. Although I expect there is a Local rule for when the ball is hit into the back seat of a car that subsequently drives off! Oh and breakfast will keep you going all day and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. My only gripe was the shower nozzle drooped, but the bath was huge so I had a soak instead!
