“Gorgeous cottage, fantastic scenery”
Reviewed 28 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Everything about this was great except the weather. We stayed in Roses Cottage and it was an absolute pleasure. The owner Ann could not do enough for us and it is one of the best equipped cottages we have stayed in. The views are fantastic looking across Lough Swilly to Portsalon.
Played golf at Ballyliffin which was fun in a howling gale and North West GC in Buncrana which is a lovely course too.
Although the weather was questionable we had a really nice holiday made all the more enjoyable by hospitality and friendliness of everyone we met.
Definitely recommend a stay at Dunaff

“A piece of Heaven on Earth”

Our stay at the Cottage and the Barn was absolutely perfect! Ann and Gerry provided a warm, Irish welcome and made sure our every need was met. The surrounding area was so peaceful and beautiful. We traveled to Derry and Belfast. Exploring Inishowen was delightful...Malin Head, Fort Dunree are two spots not to miss. We took the Foyle Ferry, at the suggestion of Ann Friel, to Greencastle where we continued on to explore The Giant's Causeway and the Rope Bridge, also a must see. We absolutely loved our two week stay in Dunaff Head and are looking forward to traveling back again someday. It was also our dog's first trip to Ireland and she absolutely loved it. Yes, it truly was a piece of Heaven on Earth! <3

“Excellent clean cottage - loads of room and beautiful views”

We stayed in Roses Cottages the last week in August 2013. We received a very warm welcome from Anne. The house is so clean, lots of space and so cosy and warm. We enjoyed the long walks, waterfall. mamore gap. leeenan pier and beach, fort dunree and malin head. We all enjoyed the week and would definitely recommend it to any family who wants to see beautiful donegal. I would score the cottage 10/10 for everything.
