To be fair you more or less know what you going to get with an Ibis budget. We needed somewhere near a wedding we were going to. The hotel is fine for an overnight stop but really wasn't suitable for four nights and hanging up all the clothing for a weekend of celebrations. It was clean enough and the staff were okay in the normal French detached way. The night Porter was a great personality and extremely pleasant. The bath towels were the very thin and I prefer the liquid soap you used to get in Etaps rather than the small bars of soap provided. I thought the bed was comfortable enough and the Hotel generally served its purpose. I wish I had stayed at the nearby Ibis but I didn't know it was there.
One night the bed was made In a rather perfunctory manner. I think the duvet was just thrown over the top.
It was useful that McDonald's was nearby and that the other Ibis had a restaurant. Having said that, the restaurant was only okay. Some of the staff at the restaurant were extremely pleasant but one Young lady should never have been working in a restaurant she was so rude.
