“Good place to get away”

We stayed at Club Arias for two nights and certainly enjoyed our time there. The rooms were big and comfortable. I didn't expect a living room so this was a bonus. The owneres are very friendly just like so many other reviews say. The breakfast again, was more than I expected - actually ordering from a menu and having it brought out to us.. The pools were really large for a quaint B&B. Very good place to stay. I highly recommended it.

My Boyfriend and I stayed at Club Arias for one night, on our way to Venezuela. We were picked up promptly at the Airport when we got in, by the owner, Arias. Arias gave us great information on what to do while staying in Aruba and even offered to take us to the Beach the next morning, where he would be giving kite surfing lessons! We totally took him up on this offer and got to go to a private beach on the "other" side of the island. It was awesome. He even gave us a kite surfing lesson on the sand.

When we first arrived at the resort from the airport, we were greeted with cold beverages and a quick tour of the property as soon as we arrived. The room was huge that we stayed in and even had a separate room with a bunkbed. This is great if you are traveling with friends or kids. The room included a sizeable shower, and kitchenette.

The property was very quiet, and we didn't see many people there (of course we were there for less than 24 hours), but it did get busier at Brunch on Sunday. The pool is clean and refreshing.

Arias's hospitality was un-matched. I recommend staying at least a couple nights during your stay just to get tips from Arias on what to do / where to go while on the island. Again, he was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make us feel welcome.

Room Tip: Our room had a king-size bed on one end and a bunk bed on the opposite end. It was the size of a sma...

We stayed three nights at club arias and left very satisfied. It is obviously not the ritz Carlton, but the landscaping is beautiful and the rooms are well appointed. And the service is the highlight -- any questions we had were promptly answered and Arias offered us tips for dining, snorkeling, private beaches, and helped us rent a car. I couldn't ask for more. If you're looking for a nice place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the larger resorts, club arias has my vote.

How do you know you are home -- that you are family? We've stayed at Club Arias for 5 out of 6 visits to Aruba we've made. Traditionally, each year - just as we get out of the airport, prior to going to Club Arias 8 minutes away .... we stop at La Granja to pick up my husband's favorite island chicken. This past year we were running a little late getting our baggage claimed and the rental car pick up, so when we finally arrived at the chicken joint, we were getting a worried "where are you" call directly from Arias. That's hands on. That's an owner who cares -- that's a FRIEND. We did of course get our chicken and scurry back "home" like little kids in trouble being late for curfew!
Each time we are at Club Arias, we feel so welcomed. Flory is a gracious hostess who bends over backwards to make sure your every need, every want is taken care of. Gloria is superb! Fresh towels at your door ... beds of fluff --full of pillows ... you just sink in and drift off to peaceful restful sleep.
The added perks of free wifi access anywhere on the complex, DVD's to keep you entertained on a quite night at home. No one throwing rules and regulations at you. If you want to take a dip in the beautifully lit pool at 10 o'clock at night -- no one is stopping you.
Gabriel 's wonderful BREAKFASTS .... not continental buffets ... but omelets or French toast ... are amazing -- and the addition of the G & G Pizza & Wings right there is wonderfully accessible and GOOD!! Best wings on the island!!
Not only are we well taken care of -- and thought of as guests -- we've gone to family style dinner with Arias, Flory and the girls -- whom we've been allowed to watch grow over the last couple of years .... we are FRIENDS ... we are FAMILY!! We Love it at Club Arias ... and recommend it with both thumbs WAAAAAAYYY up HIGH!!!

We had a great experience at Club Arias just outside Oranjestad in Aruba last week. Arias & Flory Schwartz couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. Their B&B was a real treat. Suite One was really two large rooms and a bath. The great room had a kitchen and large living room. The separate large bedroom had a large flat-screen TV and comfortable bed complete with luxurious bed linens. Rooms were fresh smelling and nicely decorated. We enjoyed their two pools, cool glasses of water and Crystal Light, and their daily snack of home-made pastry. We are just sorry our schedule was such during the three nights we booked there, that we never did get to try the complimentary breakfast of which other guests have raved.

The first morning we took advantage of their unique, highly entertaining Sunrise Island Tour with Tess. This highlight of our southern Caribbean vacation involved seeing the gorgeous Aruba Sunrise. We highly recommend this tour for several reasons. We wrote a separate Trip Advisor review of this tour.

We flew to nearby islands, Curacao and Bonaire, on this trip. Both of us agreed Aruba was the most scenic, tourist friendly of the three. We sensed a real effort to make things easy and enjoyable for visitors here. Arias and Flory went out of their way to make us feel appreciated and "at home", and we felt this way about the others there, too.

The restaurants, shopping areas, and attractions/museums were plentiful and of high quality. The American dollar is readily accepted and we never felt the need to change our money to florins. When we bought things we often were given two receipts--showing the amount in dollars and florins, making us relaxed and not fearing being "taken". So we highly recommend not only Club Arias, but their island country as well.

Enjoyed our last two days on the island last year by relaxing at Club Arias. The resort is very unique that it is layed back and the owners are very hands on. Flory was a wonderful hostess and made my wife and I feel very much at home. Our room was very nice and the lack of hot water is not that big of an issue. We enjoyed both pools and the little extras like hammocks, a sunning area in the pool, pool table, and free calls home were very nice. We liked it so much that we will be back again in 2014. A great way to end our trip in Paridise!!

Our congenial hostess Flory greeted us and made us immediately feel at home in our "home away from home" in Aruba. The suite was spacious and air-conditioned, with kitchenette, large living room, full bathroom, and separate large bedroom with large flat-screen tv and two queen-sized beds which were covered in luxurious bed linens. Rooms are immaculate and nicely decorated. Two pools on the premises, one for swimming and one for wading, create a private, well-landscaped oasis in which to relax and enjoy a cool glass of lemonade and a 4 p.m. snack of home-made pastry offered daily. Amenities also include daily breakfast and free wi-fi. The amenity we especially appreciated was free phone calls to the USA. Flory's husband Arias leads personalized local tours of the area. Beaches, fishing, snorkeling, parasailing and local restaurants are nearby. For casual and economical dining we especially enjoyed Zeerovers for fresh seafood directly off the boat and onto our plates. At Club Arias, Sunday Brunch and Wednesday's all you can eat pizza night gave us the chance to meet and chat with other happy guests and get to know the owners better. We were treated like family and look forward to return visits.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Welcome to our Club Arias Bed & Breakfast. My name is Arias Schwarz and own a bed and breakfast in Savaneta, Aruba with my wife, Flory. We first discovered the enchanting island of Aruba 20 years ago, and we were so taken with the island that we made it our annual vacation destination. On one vacation, we ventured to the southern part of the island and found Savaneta. Within Savaneta we found many treasured jewels, which included the culture and real beauty of Aruba. The beaches on the resort side paled in comparison to the beaches we found in Savaneta. The cuisine was mouth watering, welcoming and very affordable. And the people bore the true heart of the island. Savaneta was such a positive experience for both of us that we were inspired to create Club Arias Bed & Breakfast to share our new world. We want our guests to know all of the island's beauty and take in all of its charm, and we always strive to make it as affordable as possible. Our mission is to give our visitors a personable vacation that cannot be obtained from the typical hotel resorts. Our haven is a family run business. Our two daughters have a real passion for our business, and you will see them from time-to-time greeting our guests upon arrival or wishing them well upon departure. When you visit us, we want you to feel like you are part of our family and we hope to engage you with our love for this island and our love for its people. ... more   less
