Our week’s stay at Club Arias was fabulous. The staff and service were splendid, responsive, and passionate. The accommodations and environment fitted perfectly with what we had hoped for in first time our visit to Aruba. The place is quiet, clean, unpretentious, secure, and located ideally in the heart of the authentic Aruba. We felt unburdened and refreshed in Club Arias’s au naturel environment teeming with flora and a few fauna (particularly the birds); not to mention the large swimming pools and the many options on property for relaxing outdoors comfortably and in relative seclusion.

Nothing surpasses the hands on topnotch attention we received from the owners, Flory and Arias; and from Jeff the Manager. Chef Gabriel and the food services staff were incredibly satisfying and obliging to our demanding vegetarian palates. The hassle free rental car that Club Arias afforded us was a bonus because it was economical to rent and refill. Despite driving extensively while exploring Aruba from our Arias home base, we only had to visit the gas station once during the week. Club Arias delivers what it says it will, along with some surprisingly rewarding extras.

Room Tip: I would chose the "nook" room only if traveling solo and for a one or two day stay. The ro...

We stayed at Club Arias for 5 nights and overall our experience was very pleasant. We traveled with our 7 year old and the accommodations met our needs perfectly. There was a small menu available for breakfast which offered some great basic breakfast choices. I have an egg sensitivity and Gabriel was very accommodating. Our room was spacious and clean. The water in the room showers we're a bit chilly but the outdoor heated shower (available after 6pm) where you can shower under the stars was a fantastic idea, which we took advantage of and thoroughly enjoyed it. In our room we had a cooler which was so handy for our trips to the beach. We were able to stock up on a few items and drinks for our beach outings, which saved us having to search for restaurants near the beach. They also have folding beach chairs available which you can just grab for the beach as well. We met Flory and Arias quickly a couple of times but we mostly dealt with Jeff for our needs, he was very friendly and helpful. We arranged a rental car through Arias before we arrived and I'm glad we did, it was the best way to get around. The car itself seemed to be an older vehicle but it functioned well and got us was here we needed to go. Overall, our experience was very pleasant at Club Arias, it's a very clean, relaxing property and a perfect place to stay if you are looking for accommodation outside of Oranjestad.

Room Tip: We stayed in a larger room which had a king size bed in a separate room and a bunk bed as soon as yo...

We spent a single night at Club Arias to fill the void before we were able to check in at another hotel further north for the week. One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. According to the staff, the resort was fully booked - but you'd never know! The pools (all three of them!) were always empty and very clean. Extremely relaxing and quiet, with an attentive staff. It was nice to not have 'security' and other demanding staff breathing down your neck to make sure you weren't doing anything 'against the rules'. We were able to relax and have a few drinks by the pool, eat delicious wings from G&G, any time of the day or night, without the pools closing, or being watched to make sure we were 'being good'. Arias himself was available at any time, for anything. Let us borrow coolers, invited us along on an excellent ATV tour, and really just made us feel at home. Next time we're in Aruba, forget the high rises... forget the low rises... we're staying at Club Arias!

This was our 9th trip to Aruba in as many years and our FOURTH time in a row staying at Club Arias. If you want to feel like you're in the middle of a herd of cattle, stay on the other end of the island with the thousands of other tourists. If you want a super- relaxing atmosphere with no crowd to deal with, Club Arias is the ticket. Arias and his sweet wife Flori make you feel like you're the only guest staying there ( they're usually full when we stay there). We've been all over the Caribbean and by far the folks at Club Arias are the most accommodating we've ever encountered. The rooms are spacious and very well furnished, Gloria the housekeeper does a super job keeping us in fresh towels and the rooms very clean. I promise you won't find even a close level of customer service any place else. This is our go-to place in Aruba and wouldn't consider staying anyplace else. They've spoiled us!

Only stayed hear 2nights(4/10&11/14).Owners Flory & Arias are wonderful. They treated us like family, they let us barrow coolers & beach chairs to go to the beach. There always is ice , water & crystal light available at all times. At 4pm every day the chef makes a bake good for you to enjoy.
There is 3 different pool areas. The room we stayed in suite #1, big screen TV,king size bed, living rm w/kitchen with microwave & small refrigerator/freezer.
The room does have a full bath w/ sink ,shower& toilet BUT they also have 2 outside showers with tile floors and 15 ft. Tiled walls with open roof to the sky!Awesome! Tonight they had social night, provided us with pizza, wings & cocktails.Every morning free made to order breakfast by chef Gabriel.I highly recommended this bed & breakfast.

Room Tip: Ask for suite #1.that's were grandma stays when she comes to visit,so you know that's the be...

Our family of five had a wonderful experience at Club Arias. While some families might enjoy the hustle and bustle of the high/low rises downtown near the casinos, we much preferred the peaceful sanctuary offered by Arias and Flory. Jeff and Chef Gabrielle also treated us like royalty and we enjoyed the comfortable atmosphere and amenities ( I already miss the option of an outdoor shower under the stars). Arias had the van ready for us and we were in a great location to explore the island and its wonderful beaches. We took advantage of the island excursion to see places we would not have seen otherwise with the guidance of Tess, an island native, who was a great guide. Arias met us to give us kite surfing lessons for those who chose to be adventurous. Arias and Flory went out of their way to personalize our stay, and had a way of making each guest feel special. We recommend Club Arias as a special vacation spot for those who want a serene getaway with choices to do as much or as little as you would like.

We could not have picked a better place to stay for our trip to Aruba than Club Arias B&B! Hands down it is in the best location and Arias and his family are the most welcoming hosts you could ever hope for. It begins when you book with him. From there he takes over... He helps you prepare, gives recommendations and personally picks you up from the airport. His genuine passion and personality is a breath of fresh air. The location is outside the commercialized hustle and bustle, yet close enough to go there if you want to sample it (one quick trip and you'll be done with that). Savaneta is PERFECT. It's close to everything and has a wonderful one-of-a-kind native and welcoming feel. Arias even has rental cars available for convenient renting. He also thinks of all the small things that the big hotels forget about, like providing beach chairs, coolers, free drink stations and even free DVD rentals when you want to chill in your room. The keyless/cardless door locks are great (we replaced all of our house locks with them as soon as we got home). In one day you can hit Eagle Beach on one side then Baby Beach on the other with time to stop at La Granja for the best chicken money can buy! There are tons of quaint local stops that are extremely welcoming. The friendliness on Aruba is second to none. Arias and his staff only cement that. All you need is to book the Sunrise tour with Arias and Tess and you are guaranteed the best experience possible (see my Sunrise Tour review as well)! I CAN'T FORGET THE OUTDOOR SHOWER... ABSOLUTE MUST! We truly didn't feel like we were on vacation... it felt like home. Arias, thank you very much for the time you showed us, and we will see you soon my friend!

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Welcome to our Club Arias Bed & Breakfast. My name is Arias Schwarz and own a bed and breakfast in Savaneta, Aruba with my wife, Flory. We first discovered the enchanting island of Aruba 20 years ago, and we were so taken with the island that we made it our annual vacation destination. On one vacation, we ventured to the southern part of the island and found Savaneta. Within Savaneta we found many treasured jewels, which included the culture and real beauty of Aruba. The beaches on the resort side paled in comparison to the beaches we found in Savaneta. The cuisine was mouth watering, welcoming and very affordable. And the people bore the true heart of the island. Savaneta was such a positive experience for both of us that we were inspired to create Club Arias Bed & Breakfast to share our new world. We want our guests to know all of the island's beauty and take in all of its charm, and we always strive to make it as affordable as possible. Our mission is to give our visitors a personable vacation that cannot be obtained from the typical hotel resorts. Our haven is a family run business. Our two daughters have a real passion for our business, and you will see them from time-to-time greeting our guests upon arrival or wishing them well upon departure. When you visit us, we want you to feel like you are part of our family and we hope to engage you with our love for this island and our love for its people. ... more   less
