Owner description: If you are looking for inspiration and a relaxing day out, come to RHS Garden Rosemoor and stroll around our enchanting 65-acre garden. Rosemoor is a garden of intoxicating beauty, meticulously crafted and planted, retaining the essence of rural North Devon within a dramatic backdrop of steep wooded valley sides.Whatever the season, the exciting colours, scents and textures mean that all your senses will be stimulated, and with both formal and informal gardens - as well as woodland walks, water features and open spaces - there is something for children and adults alike to enjoy time and again.

“Magnificent, professional gardens and far from 'stuffy'”
Reviewed 24 June 2011

Have you been to RHS Wisley? Rosemoor, by comparison, is simply magnificent. Highly professional gardens, superby maintained by dedicated staff. It has a delightfully relaxed air about the garden, both from the perspective of the different planting schemes and to the comments you hear other visitors make as you wonder around. Everyone seems spellbound, wrapt in their attention to specific details. The highlight of my visit were the two superb rose gardens, surely at their best in mid June, and the cottage garden, but Rosemoor will have something of interest for anyone interested in gardening on any given day of the year. Do visit!

“A beautiful garden.”
Reviewed 15 July 2010

My family visited here one somewhat rainy day, and we had a great time. The gardens are extensive and laid out in an interesting fashion. They are well-maintained. The food was good and reasonably priced. It is easy to find, and parking is convenient.

“Tranquil and stunning”
Reviewed 13 July 2010

Probably best to visit when weather good as most is outside as you would expect. The gardens are beautifully laid out and you can easily split your visit taking in small areas and stopping for refreshments along the way. There is a good restaurant and also a lovely teashop as well as a picnic area. All areas beautifully maintained and very clean facilities.

“Brilliant day out for all those who enjoy gardens and gardening”
Reviewed 1 July 2009

We visited on a hot day at the end of June 2009. Thegarden is easy to get around and we particulaly enjoyed the rose garden which was awash with roses in full bloom, and the lake side area which was idylic.
The shop, plant centre, restuarant and facilites are excellent as you would expect from an RHS garden.
