Stayed at the Old Rectory in the beautiful Earl's room for three nights, was a very lovely stay in a gorgeous b&b- the hosts were very welcoming and made for a relaxing visit. the room itself was really warm (plus a hot water bottle!) and luxurious, and was a great break from the city.
The village has a fabulous National Trust house, Oxborough Hall, which is just across the fields from the Old Rectory and also close to the Bedingfield arms, a lovely pub and place for supper.
overall would highly recommend as lots to do nearby and the Old Rectory was a peaceful and scenic place to spend a few days!

Was a Fantastic weekend stay. We were received by the managers young, charming son, who offered us complimentary tea and cake after showing us to our room. The Earls room was extremely comfortable, with a delightful bed, and en suite bathroom. After an excellent nights sleep ,we were given breakfast in the main house at our requested time. The full English breakfast was hearty, while the smoked salmon and scramble eggs was delicious. There was plenty of information on the local attractions and places to eat out. The local Pub seemed more like a London restaurant than the usual country watering hole and provided a splendid evening of dining. On the Whole it was a hugely enjoyable stay

Room Tip: The pool is outside and therefore only open in the summer months.

Dear Guests
The housekeeper showed the guests the Earls room which has an ensuite bathroom accessed via an archway.( neither loo or bath is visible from bedroom) The guests commented on how nice the room was and then decided to change their minds the next day, having used the room of course. The guests ate their breakfast with gusto, and did not mention that they would prefer brown bread to white, as always happy to accommodate guest s requirements. These guests made very positive comments in the visitors book of "excellent stay" .yours the manager

The Old Rectory is set in the peaceful, beautiful Norfolk countryside, close to places of interest and within easy reach of London. I stayed for two memorable days in a very comfortable bedroom with excellent breakfasts on both mornings. Veronica, my hostess, was charming and helpful for my, all too short, stay. Returning after a days's excursion and being able to have a swim in the pool is a rare treat not found in many B&Bs. All in all it was a very pleasurable experience.

I stayed at the Old Rectory for a weekend visit. Delightful host and comfortable accommodation. For anyone wanting a friendly bed and breakfast home stay in a typically English setting then I would highly recommend the Old Rectory. Just a pity that being there in the spring it wasn't possible to use the outdoor pool!
