“Credit to the B&B trade”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 May 2013

We can only endorse all that has been written about Embrea. Andrew and Janet are a real credit to the B&B trade and we spent a wonderful couple of days in Wiltshire mainly due to the accommodation we chose. Thanks very much to both of you for your hard work, Embrea is a real credit to you both. PS Janet makes the best Fried Bread in the country.

My girlfriend and I spent five night at the Embrea. Andrew and Janet were outstanding hosts and the rooms were spotless. This would be the first place I would go to if I happen to return to the area again. Can't say enough good things about the Embrea. Believe the high ratings, they are well deserved.

Janet and Andrew were incredibly welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The house was spotlessly clean and tidy yet homely. From the welcome perfect cup of tea to the lovely breakfast and fruit in the bedroom, the bed and breakfast was all you could hope for and more.

We were made very welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was very clean, airy and had an amazing view across the fields. We didn't hear any road noise from our room. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept better than we do at home. The breakfast was fantastic and will be another reason why we will be returning later in the year. The whole atmosphere of the B & B was like home from home. We feel we arrived as guests but left as friends. Overall, great value for money.

We stayed here on a stop off on our way to Cornwall and had such a lovely stay, can't fault this B and B. The breakfast was worth the visit alone and andy and Janet could not be better hosts, nothing is too much trouble. It felt more like staying with friends than staying at a B and B. Our toddler loved the animals and andy often helped to keep him entertained at breakfast time. What a fab place and fantastic owners, can not wait to plan a trip to Longleat again so we can go stay here.

While not all the way to a 5-star, Embrea was certainly a 4+. Bright, cheerful home that's immaculately clean. The hosts are friendly and attentive without being intrusive and very kind in sharing and resources and travel tips; their information significantly helped the remainder of our road trip. And breakfast was excellent. The one downside, though not huge, is that the home is actually located fairly close to the main road and we heard some traffic noise in the night.

Room Tip: Not sure if they have a guest room that doesn't face the main road but, if so, would request it.

Needed a place for a one night stay on our way down to the Dorset. Great find, would certainly return if we are in the area again. Very friendly welcome and we were soon made a cup of tea. Our accomodation was first class with a great breakfast. Given some great advice about where we could walk and within a few minutes we were walking alongside the Kennet and Avon Canel.
