I was on a 20-day solo trip in Armenia and decided to spend two nights in Dilijan. When I started looking for places to stay, Dili Villa appeared to me a nice guesthouse, but it turned out to be one of the best experiences of the trip!
In spite of being about five to ten minutes walking on a dirt road from the main street in Dilijan, it is very well located in a quiet spot, and the house has simple but good structure - hot shower, confortable beds and really nice view of the woods from the upstairs balcony. There's also a common room filled with paintings of the owner, who's also the director of Dilijan's art museum.
Nune is a wonderful, kind and helpful host, attentive to all your requests! And she cooks the BEST Armenian food - I ended up having breakfast, lunch and dinner both days, it was just irresistible!
Really a great experience!More
