We arrived at our b&b wet and tired but were greeted with a smile and a hot drink in the communal visitors kitchen area. Annie and Alan spoke vitually no English but with charades and our school French we were able to communicate fine. Breakfast was at a large (ever growing) table in the house, displaying croissants, freshly baked baguette and a different homemade cake or pudding every day. The pancakes were lovely!!! At least 13 different homemade jams on the table, all were delicious. The garden is full of beautiful roses in every colour, plus a very cute dog,!! The beds were really comfortable and for those who like a complete blackout to sleep, the shutters are amazing on door and windows. All in all a lovely experience and would recommend to those who want an authentic French style holiday.
