Nice hotel for a couple of days on business. Nice location. Noting fancy but the Executive room was a big one and all accessories were in working condition. Food was nice though a bit high priced. The hotel seemed to be a bit poorly lit up - seemed to be a cost cutting initiative. What clinched the deal was the complimentary drop to Raipur airport - made it a real 'Value for Money' option. All in all a safe bet for the business traveller.

I was here for 3-nights in jan'14 while on a business trip. The hotel is average, but it is a classic case of a good advertisement of a poor product. Their is nothing grand about this hotel, except its huge lobby. The switches in the room are not ergonomically designed. The laundry which was supposed to be delivered at 7 PM (handed over at 9AM), came in at 10 PM and that too after follow-up. Should I had to check-out before 10 PM, I would have had to forsake my clothes. The breakfast was most ordinary. they do not even provide you with fresh fruit juice. This is all that we have...please take it or leave it sums up their attitude.
The positives, pick-up/drop from Raipur Airport, housekeeping and wi-fi
But you do not have much of a choice in a place like Bhilai. Highly overpriced hotel. They will improve only when they are hit by competition

Room Tip: Try to negotiate the rates, as whatever rate you get it won't be value for money

I had booked an executive room and a premium room in this hotel. I had stayed in the executive room with my wife and children. The room was cramped and the bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom was also very small. We had asked for an extra mattress for our elder one. We were told that the mattress would be provided at extra charge and we agreed. A run-down mattress was provided and we had to ask separately for a pillow. Buffet breakfast was included as part of the tariff but the staff tried to charge us extra for our elder one's breakfast, although we were paying extra person charges anyway. When we brought this to the attention of the breakfast room staff, they checked out with the front desk and agreed not to charge extra. Breakfast was decent with a host of options. I didn't eat much in the restaurant (lunch/dinner) attached to the hotel though; so can't comment on it. You need to contact the hotel directly to book rooms. Although the hotel provides an email id, it was not easy for me to get information via email. Knowing someone locally is always helpful in a place like Bhilai as you can rely on your local contact person to check out the rooms beforehand and to get the information that you need. However, if you don't know anyone locally, it is better to contact the reservation/front desk staff via phone rather than writing lengthy emails and following up for replies. In the absence of too many options in Bhilai, I would be hesitant to recommend travelers to avoid this hotel.
