“Lovely apartment in a great location”

Cushendun is a really nice area to stay at, only an hour from Belfast along a scenic coastal road and less than that from the Giant's Causeway. Plenty of coastal walks around as well as a pub in the village, local shop and fishing from the beach too.
The apartment is great, a balcony overlooks the beach from one of the bedrooms, the en-suites are good and the bath deep enough. The living area is spacious and comfortable, the kitchen area easy to use and has what you need. The heating works too and was good enough for the elderly members of our group who feel the cold. Ample free parking is right there too. We were met by the cleaner - who had done a good job - and collected the key, easy.
We didn't get to meet the owner, but did exchange a good few e-mails with her. She answered them all, was very helpful and was flexible too.
I can certainly recommend staying here.

“Great space”
Reviewed 23 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Stayed 7 nights in this lovely apartment as a party of 6 adults.
Open space living and kitchen which is a fabulous area for a party of our size.
4 good size bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 2 ensuite shower rooms.
Stunning location overlooking Cushendun bay.
Pros: amazing view, great size, clean bedding and plenty of nice fluffy towels, good water pressure, excellent heating system, private, quiet, welcome basics food pack supplied.
Cons: needs some maintenance, general cleanliness of apartment was poor, small double beds and 1 set of bunks, all mattresses need replacing, no tea towels, no coffee machine, downstairs bathroom, bath only, no shower fitting. Apartments does have washer dryer combo, but unfortunately even with the manual supplied, settings only allowed for hot wash and several pies of clothing were shrunk beyond repair. No umbrellas supplied in a country that experiences rain most of the year.
No wifi and even after buying a UK SIM card for Internet data, the whole apartment was in a black spot so needed to walk across the road to get phone service and Internet. Luckily weather was super, but this could be major issue if raining.
Our group did have a lovely time at this large apartment which was incredible value for money due to size and location. However, would have readily paid more for decent beds and a better standard of amenities. A car is an absolute must as Cushendun is quite remote, but having originally come from this area, we were aware of this.
The apartment entrance is at the rear of the building and it did make for a confusing initial find.
The area is stunning to look at and the surrounding countryside is breathtaking. With a little bit of tweaking, this apartment has the potential to be superb.

“This is a superb apartment in the best location on this earth.”
Reviewed 17 January 2016 for a stay in July 2015

I stayed last July for the 5 year running and I have booked to stay again this year. The apartment is very large nd spacious with a fantastic location. The owner Clare and the house keepers Nancy and Husband are so good. If you like comfort, space, peace and quiet with opportunities to mingle with locals and tourists alike. This is the best plce to stay ever. 6th year in a row comming and cant wait.

“Spacious appartment in an excellent location in beautiful countryside”
Reviewed 25 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

The apartment is in a delightful village (with some houses designed by the architect of Portmerion) with very friendly staff in local bars/pubs and shops. Local roads are good so travelling to sights and even Belfast for the day is not a problem. The apartment itself had plenty of room and was to a good standard. A useful addition would be a wardrobe or hanging rail in the main bedroom and a brief guide to the apartment setting out how things work, what equipment there is in the kitchen etc. This didn't detract though from what was a lovely holiday.

Apartment excellent, just as it is in the photos and even better as it has all the accessories needed from dishwasher, excellent dinner service and cutlery, beds made up on arrival, clean towels and much more - home from home. Location superb, relaxing and beautiful scenery.
