“Wish we could have stayed longer!”
Reviewed 24 June 2015 for a stay in May 2015

What a great place to begin our first trip to Ireland! Raymond and Susan provided an immaculately clean and comfortable vacation home. Our only regret was that we couldn't have stayed longer, but we certainly hope to return. We loved that all four bedrooms are en-suite. The wet room (shower room) is amazing. The owners, who are warm and welcoming, live next door to the vacation rental and made it clear that we shouldn't hesitate to let them know if we needed anything. Having the owners nearby did not feel at all intrusive. We loved the area, the people, the food, and the accommodations--highly recommend!

“Everything needed for the perfect family break”
Reviewed 22 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

I have just spent a week with my wife, our 2 young boys and on various days the in-laws stayed including twin 1 yr old boys. The house was very modern and had everything needed to keep us all happy. Most nights we cooked in the kitchen and on one evening fed 7 adults and 4 children with ease. The garden is perfect for the kids to play on the swings & trampoline while tiring themselves out running about the spacious grass area. The house was also spacious and very cosy and the hosts could not have been any nicer or helpful. With so many beautiful locations only a short drive away this is the perfect place to stay for a family holiday or even a group of friends. I will defo be back!!!!

“All we could wish for.....and more! Beautiful scenery, stunning cottage, we will be back!”
Reviewed 1 June 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We stayed for a week, 2 families, 4 adults, 3 children.
The house is perfect, a really high standard, clean and beautifully finished. Spacious accommodation perfect for large family holidays.
It's away from it all in a peaceful location, stunning views, but near enough to Cushendall if needed. (A visit to Mcollams pub for traditional Irish music and a fantastic meal at 'Upstairs at Joes' is a must!)
A lovely shared garden with trampoline etc perfect for the kids. Really helpful owners.
I almost don't want to shout about it too much, would be nice as our little secret!
We will be back, there's too much to see and do!

The cottage was ideal for the needs of an extended family holiday. The accomodation was perfect with en-suite bathrooms in all rooms and all furnished to a high quality as was the whole property with a fully equipped kitchen.
Fantastic location with a secluded feel but still easily accesible to the beach and local towns.
I would highly recommend this cottage for any trip to the Antrim coast - summer or winter. Stunning scenery, friendly and helpful owners and beautiful accommodation.

Hi Richard .Thank you very much for the kind review. So glad that you enjoyed The Cottage and the local and surrounding areas and the snow didn't spoil your break although the kids seemed to enjoy playing in the garden with it.
Best wishes to your family. Raymond

“Excellent accommodation, helpful owner”

I stayed at Glendun with my extended family for Christmas 2013 and would recommend it very highly. The accommodation, which we understand was newly completed, was perfect for our family's needs. The rooms all have en-suites which were clean, new and with decent power showers (which in our experience is not often the case in holiday cottages). The location was beautiful, with stunning views over the hills and coast, yet close enough to local towns for all the shops and amenities you need. The owners were very close by and could not have been more helpful - even lending us gravy for Christmas dinner! Susan was so friendly and made it a really special holiday for us. We arrived to find Susan had decorated the property with a Christmas tree and lots of Christmas decorations, so it really was home from home for our short stay. The kitchen was very well appointed and we had no trouble cooking a full Christmas dinner for 10.
I would highly recommend this cottage for any trip to the Antrim coast - summer or winter. Stunning scenery, friendly and helpful owners and beautiful accommodation with all the mod cons you could ask for.

There were 7 of us staying in the cottage (three couples and one single), The rooms were well equipped and the beds very comfortable but the real pleasant surprise was that each of the showers in the ensuites were fab, the place had a very new feel about it and the owners both very approachable and friendly ( full of the usual craic): ) The area has stunning views and a lovely pleasant walk to a nearby viaduct is recommended.
I would definitely recommend Glendun Cottage to any party.

Thanks for the review. It was a pleasure to have you all and was nice to see the cottage get its first festive make over,But having said that there are a lot of nicer walks ,beach walks and round the village by the river, walks to the caves and longer walks up Glendun and over layde taking in the coastline from a height. Your group have really got the Christmas mood going round here and we also have a group coming in for Christmas .I better make sure my recycling bins are empty .Merry Christmas to you all
