The arrival of technology and bus load of tourists had a remarkable changes to this once secluded outback.Women were on their blue jean and men with the latest Iphone.Kids were busily fiddling with the latest electronic gadget..Life at this part of the world could be very tough.Even at September the night temperature could dip below 20 degree C and the day time temperature was dry and hot.The winter temperature is the dreadful minus thirty or sometime forties.
I managed to visit a Tuwa family .One family member tried to "sing" a high pitch haunting sound.As they were the descendant of Mongolian,I requested them to perform the Mongolian 长调 and I was politely turn down.Reason : they don't know.
We sampled their cheese with a bitterly flavour. and also participated in their interesting dance.Mind you,it was very difficult to make a decent sound with their short "flute".
With a better living standard,I believe it is a matter of time the whole village will become a theme park.
