“Wonderful experience”
Reviewed 30 November 2013

We stayed for 2 nights in Gamirasu in Nov13. All the staffs from Reception to restaurant to housekeeping were very friendly. We requested for Jain vegetarian food & they provided our best food in Turkey. Even they gave good rooms to us, very beautiful. It was a wonderful experience to stay in a cave hotel. Highly recommended.
The only problem it is located 20-25 minutes from Cappadocia & located in an isolated place.

This hotel is an amazing find. It is a charming cave hotel which is indeed like being in your own home. The staff couldn't be more warm and loving. The breakfast is sumptuous. The dining room is warm and comfortable. Unfortunately we could not enjoy the pool or the outdoor terrace because of the time of year (November), but being in a cave hotel was enough to make up for that! Cappadocia is everything they say and more, a magical place. We are sure there are lovely other cave hotels, but Gamirasu is very special and we hope to go back some day. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so perfect.

Room Tip: If you have any kind of issues with stairs be sure to ask for something on an accessible level.

An experience that can never be forgotten!

We have inflexible taste, we are picky and don’t get impressed easily!

Stayed in tens of hotels in around 10 countries over the past 25 years, this little intimate home-like hotel had a lot to amaze and surprise us! From people to reception to room to cleanliness to food to laundry to pool & garden to transportation to privacy & peacefulness, this very unique place gave us for 3 nights a great experience that we really enjoyed!

We had 2 nights here this week. Kamil and the team were very friendly and went out of their way to assist. Airlines lost our bags meaning no chargers for phones, PC etc but after a few chats with staff they got together the adapters etc we needed from the staff themselves, including the young female chef who makes breakfast. I cannot imagine many hotels would check with staff to see who had suitable chargers. Food was good and nice to see the hotel specialising in local wines (try the Teserano). Rooms were large and had everything you need and a bit more. A great place to base yourself for the most beautiful part of Turkey. Thanks again to all at Gamirsu !!

We stayed at the luxurious Gamirasu Cave Hotel for two nights. We were greeted on arrival with a glass of wine by the delightfully engaging manager, Emre. Our cave room (108) was massive, the beds were huge and very comfy. The hotel restaurant was fantastic. Service impeccable (thank you Kamil and Jemmy - apologies if I've got the spelling wrong). We were made to feel very much at home during our brief stay. If you visit Cappadocia, do yourself a favour and stay here. Our tour was organised through Euphrates Tours, whom we can also highly recommend.

This is a once in a lifetime venue! The rooms are huge and interesting and comfortable!
We had an excellent meal in the restaurant! Chatted with the owners.
For me, there are not words enough to describe this out of this world experience!
It was fun to imagine local history!
This was part of an exceptional two day tour with Euphrates Tours!

Room Tip: We were by the pool which meant less climbing.

In September 2013, we stayed in the Byzantine King suite and were overwhelmed by the size and style of this huge cave. We ate in the hotel restaurant each night (a first for us) and found the food to be interesting, delicious and reasonable for such a hotel. The pool was in a great setting. The staff members were always helpful and we wished we had stayed longer as there was heaps to do and see.
This hotel was arranged by our fantastic tour company, Euphrates. Special thanks to Feliz, Rana and Ahmet for showing us so much of this fantastic region.

Room Tip: Pay a bit extra for a special cave room and stay as long as possible. Use Euphrates Tours to organiz...
