We first ate here last year, but unfortunately it was end-of-season, and the Himalaya closed down... This year we decided this would be our favourite restaurant, and we proceeded to eat our way through the (vegetarian part of) the Tibetan and Indian menus. The veg Biryani and the Momos were great, but we can wholeheartedly recommend the other dishes as well. What makes this place particularly attractive - apart from their reasonably-priced and delicious food - is the people working there, who always greet you with a big smile and are not averse to holding a short conversation, even when the restaurant is full. We will definitely be going back again next year!

Well can't believe this place only has 7 reviews , unless everyone is trying to keep it a secret ..... Visited tonight, stuck to the Tibetan food even though there's plenty for everyone's tastes.... And we were not disappointed , in fact we were delighted , the food was superb , and the value excellent, table for next week booked already

Situated besides the taj village resort, this restaurant may not look much but its service and food is great. When we went it was completely full and people were being turned away. For starters in owild recommend the pakoras and for main we had the chicken xacuti and dal fry. All tasted great and very homemade, in a good way. Even though there was a delay in service due to the number of diners, the service was always good!

An excelltent place to have tibetan food... the momos are to die for.... thung pa is another treat.... sarita the owner is a gracious host. Located just beside the Vivanta by Taj, this is a favorite with many a guest residing in this area. Desserts are basic and options besides the Tibetan fare are basic and what you get in most restaurants in Goa.... Prices are moderate.

No live music though....

We finally found an excellent place to eat, close to where we were staying in Candolim on our last day in Goa!. Superb quality, great service & price is fine too. There were good choices in menu card for lunch/dinner, however we went there for breakfast & what a great filling breakfast it was. Eggs were prepared to perfection, juice was good. Tea was the best I tasted in Goa, I struggled to find good tea for 4 days I was there. After almost walking out from another place where we went for breakfast (called Indian Handi or something, right next to Himalaya) when they served me the sweet eggs & poori when asked for paratha!!!.

So, let me not take the focus away from Himalayas, great place. A must visit/eat in place while in Goa/Candolim
