First the good points. That over now for the bad. Bathroom isn't, it's a shower and toilet pod cubicle which you have to leave the door open on when sitting if you are over 6'. The cubicle floods when showering and this cannot be avoided. The basin is in the bedroom and the only curtain is a blackout blind between you and a McD's/KFC drive thru. No wardrobe or cupboards (even bedside tables). After three days the room had not been swept or hoovered nor the toilet or shower cleaned. No hand towels for the basin just two shower towels which need replacing every day after mopping up the flood (see above). Toilet extractor fan runs all night regardless and is clogged with mould and dirt. Sheets are mould stained. And make sure you have ear plugs as aircraft overhead and hemmed in on an industrial estate by McD's, KFC and a building site. Finally can't open windows properly and A/C has two settings On or Off. Only thing missing is Basil Faulty.

Room Tip: Rooms in another hotel a different league for similar money

Hi guys, If you are looking for a 2 nights stay in this hotel then I can offer you a double bed room, at a rate cheaper than the hotel's regular tariff as I have 2 nights voucher of the hotel valid until April 1st, 2014.

Stayed one night, the room was clean however the air con unit was noisy making sleep difficult. The room was hot without it on. I was on the top floor but interestingly, there were no lifts. For the price, I thought it was not good value. Its only saving grace was it's proximity to the highway and the M4.

We stayed here for NYE, it was clean and tidy and very conveniently placed local to the train station about 10/15min walk away and also buses that go past frequently.

Mcdonalds is also just next door which is handy if you want breakfast.

The people on reception were helpful with directions and very accommodating.

It costs about $20 in a taxi from the airport

Definitely recommend this place as it was reasonably priced and clean.

I can understand that this is a budget hotel and it is definitely good value, we stayed in a King room for $86. The was no lift however this was not a problem because we are both young, fit and only had overnight bags. There was no fitness centre, again acceptable for $86.

There is McDonalds and Hungry Jacks on either side of the hotel which is great if you need to catch an early flight and want to grab some breakfast. Which I would recommend because the $7 Ibis breakfast is a bowl of stale cereal!

This would have been a great stay and I would have given them an average rating however I will never forget the experience of sleeping on a towel ontop of the bed covers because I though I was going to catch a disease!!

The toilet had skid marks in the bowl and pubic hairs on the seat. Long hair in the shower.
The previous room occupant's used soap bar was still sitting on the basin.
There were snot marks on the side of the bed base where someone has wiped their boogers.
The bed sheets/pillows were covered in hair and slightly rumpled, the bed had obviously not been changed just remade.
Light-bulb missing from fitting above desk.

We're a long distance relationship couple, we have stayed in A LOT of hotels (many Ibis stays) this is the first time I have felt the need to sleep ontop of a towel above the bed covers.

Unfortunately I was not able to complain about the room to the staff because we had to leave for a meeting soon after checking in and when we returned that night reception was closed and again closed when we left at 7 in the morning.

Will never return, not even if I was paid.
