I stayed at room with private onset but you know, it's not really private because it's on the second floor balcony! You can see all the people walk pass you, lol. The breakfast/dinner they provide are very good. It gave me Japanese vibe. They don't have much vanity products so you better bring it yourself.

I stayed at Fujikawaguchiko to capture Fujisan in the evening and decided to at least spend the night instead of going back to Tokyo. Made the right choice and a good choice with Hotel Koryu. I have a room facing the lake and with my favourite tatami mat I have a great night sleep. It is also very near to the Kachi Kachi Ropeway where you get a very nice view of Fujisan too! And please, at least enjoy the onsen when you are there.

Used the public onsen at the hotel. Were the only guests there, however the reception staff explained everything to us politely. All facilities were well maintained and the outdoor onsen was lovely. Excellent value for money and excellent facilities for grooming after using the onsen.

Loves the panoramic. Onsen is so good. My first experience. Kaiseki dinner is really awesome. The room is really spacious and so japanese. With tatami, futon ooh omg so adorable. We can't move on. Love everything here. Highly recommended.

Great hotel with spectacular views of the lake. 15min walk from the nearest station. The room was exactly what I was hoping to see whilst staying in Japan from the Tatami flooring with low table and floor cushions right down to the futon beds. The onsen is amazing (I suggest you do some research before using them if you're a newbie!)

Staff don't speak English but hey, guess what? You're in their country. I didn't try the food as I found it a bit pricey and with a few restaurants near by, I chose to use them. No bar either but again, a 10 min walk soon soiled that.

I would definitely come again.
