Just returned from yucca park apartments, when I was viewing the apartment it was said to be spectacular and 70m from the beach so I looked at availability and the dates I wanted were available the management accepted my deposit and I started to look for flights, then another email came they had not updated their availability and were sorry but could only offer 4days in lovely app but could offer 6days in another, they offered a slight discount so we decided to go for it as it was a last minute booking. Well spectacular it was not, it was very basic and did not have all the luxuries specified. Having said all that the complex was nice and quiet, nice pool and pool bar serving lovely meals. The location was really good with lots of good bars and restaurants,we didn't have one meal that we didn't enjoy. We will go back to yucca park but have got numbers of private apps that over look the pool and will not be booking with yucca management

Just spent 2 weeks at Yucca park.Found it to be a nice clean place and the rooms were as expected for a holiday stay with everything you need.
Could have done with more choice on English tv channels.
The hotel seems to be suited towards russian clients.
Internet WiFi purchased from the pablos bar is very reasonable at 15 euros for a weeks usage but you need to be close to the bar to use as the range is very short but they dont mind you sitting in the bar to use once purchased.
Any problems we had with the fittings were quickly sorted out.The hot water boiler developed a leak and within 3 hours we had a new one fitted.
The young lady cleaner was very pleasant.
There is a swimming pool but we never used it.

We have just returned from an eleven night stay at Yucca Park and have to say that we were very impressed. We have looked at staying at this complex for a number of years and when we finally went, we were not disappointed.

The complex is very quiet and also very secure with there being keypad security at all entrances after early evening. The pool area as well as the apartment that we rented was absolutely spotless and could not be faulted in any way whatsoever. As others have posted, there is no mad rush for sun beds every morning as they are not unlocked until about nine thirty every morning.

There is a bar on the complex, namely Pueblos. This was very good albeit it did not stay open for the times that they advertised. There were some occasions that the owners were obviously wanting to close up early. It would be so much better if they just advertised the proper opening times , which would leave the customers in no doubt.

As others have said, the apartments will vary in size and style due to them being all privately owned. We styled in number 203 which was absolutely perfect for our purpose, well appointed and spotless.

Is Yucca Park worth a stay -absolutely. Will we be back - certainly.

We stayed in apt 106 on a let through Owner's Direct. There are several apts in the complex being let out privately and some being let through other agencies like bookings.com/Travel Republic etc. This means that they vary inside in terms of the quality of fittings and facilities. The complex is a fair size but the buildings which are only 2 floors high are offset so that you get privacy - like a small house with just 2 apartments in it. The complex has a reception which is only open for a couple of hours in the morning and a couple early evening so if you are arriving outside of those times be sure to find out about access. The door and gate are number coded which offers some security. There is a large freeform pool subdivided by a bridge and a children's small pool too. There are sunbeds but many are pretty old and not adjustable and also brollies. We had poor weather so there was no scrum to get beds. The pool bar is English-run and sells the usual ordinary snack food and drinks and has a book-exchange. They advertise a weekly BBQ but it didn't happen while we were there. The pool area is cleaned daily and the gardens are well-tended. The apartment we booked costs about £300 a week in March. Some are more I believe. Apt 106 had a kettle, toaster, plenty of china and glasses but the cutlery was inadequate and mismatched. There was no coffee maker. There is a fridge but no freezer, a full cooker (with those slow solid hotplates), an oven and a microwave. The bathroom was clean with a shower over the bath, a sink, loo and washing machine. The bedroom had a small safe and plenty of storage and spare bedding. The bed however is a standard sized double which is almost unheard of these days with a hard mattress and we ended up using the bed settee as well. It would be good to see a split mattress King sized bed there and some clean new pillows - and more of them. The lounge had a bed settee, coffee table and sideboard with a TV (only the news in English) and a DVD player also a floor standing fan and a nice balcony with absolutely no view at all - just a fence but with a table and 4 chairs and a drying rack. When we arrived all the towels except 2 had been washed and were still wet on the balcony. There is no loo roll provided - that would have been a nice touch.I imagine it would be very hot with no air con in summer. The decor has been nicely thought out - all the bedding, towels and soft furnishings are coordinated and give a pleasant homely environment. The supermarket, shops and some nice restaurants are just a few minutes' walk away as is the lovely blue flag beach. Taxis are available outside. All in all a pleasant comfortable, reasonably priced place to stay and with a few improvements it could be really fantastic. A word of warning: they take a 100 euro cash deposit from you on arrival - make sure you budget for it! It is returned at the end of your stay. We were told there was wifi but they never got back to us with the details of how to access it - disappointing. L'Aperitivos - a nearby wine bar that does good coffee and has free wifi. We also ate at Martini - good, Hawaii - also good but slightly unpredictable staff, Gran Reserva - not so good, slow and less good food and also somehwere on the sea front called something like Fulcar de mar where my chicken was not cooked through but the staff were very helpful. P.S. Don't put anything of value in your checked luggage; we had one of our bags rifled through and money stolen after check in at Tenerife South airport.

Room Tip: There seemed to be some that overlooked the pool which would therefore have a pleasant outlook on on...

Stayed at the Yucca park for 2 weeks Aug 2012. It was a private let and the apartment was absolutely brilliant. Renovated to a high standard, very clean and modern. It had everything you would ever need (except air con) - iron, ironing board, proper hair dryer, nice size tv, dvd player, kitchen appliances and some stand up fans. Owner Olga was excellent and pleasure to deal with. The complex has 2 good size pools and 1 smaller one for children. Needless to say that the poolside bar run by Pauline and Paul was great. The apartments are 1 min walk from the main beach and lots of lovely restaurants. Taxi rank just outside if you fancy a short trip to Los Cristianos beach (aprox €6 each way) or you can catch a bus or walk along the coast ( 5km). Some lovely restaurants and shops located at Safari Shopping Center. Overall 10 out of 10 for Yucca Park. Would defiantly stay again.

Room Tip: Most of the apartments are privately owned so very different from each other.

Myself and 2 friends stayed at the Yucca park, gorgeous apartments and lovely pool. Quiet in October but not far From Americas. Great to chill out and relax would recommend for a girlie holiday or with your partner. Pablos bar couldn't of been any more accommodating to us. Pauline really looked after us and Paul put up with our fussy food orders! Thanks Hollie, Georgia and Charlotte ( the Blackpool bells) ;-) xx
