We stayed in the downstairs family unit from August 5th to 9th. We were wonderfuly greeted by Robin in the early hours from the airport. Our room was immaculatey clean and spacious enough for a family of 4 with a lovely patio which was always bathed in sun and used often for breakfast, lunch or dinner. This room was private and enjoyed a view of the lagoon a short distance away. Kura's is located at the quiet end of the lagoon within easy walking distance from great places to eat ( checkout the Moorings, The Flame Tree and a great beach view at Sails Restaurant ) and other island attractions e.g Te Vara Nui Village - highly recommended cultural show and dinner.
Overall, all staff including Kura and Robin were friendly and accommodating. Great location at an affordable price with well appointed and clean facilities and supplied with fresh fruit which was amazing. Our children spent many hours at the lagoon edge exploring, catching hermit crabs, spotting fish/seaslugs and gathering coconuts for the kind gardener to open. We met some wonderful people staying at Kuras and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Would definitely stay here again - Thanks Kura and Robin.More
