Liked dining on the beach with sand beneath my toes. Wine was delicious, food was okay. We were from another hotel in Muri and found this restaurant walking along the beach. A reasonable option for dining on the beach.

We came here for lunch and took a place on the beach, the food and service was good but nothing special. But we enjoyed our short moment there.

We were not staying at Pacific Resort but visited for an evening meal. We did expect it to be quieter but were surprised to find toddlers and kids running around, and a yelling toddler wearing only a diaper and teeshirt at the table next to us. That isn't the restaurants fault. But we did get the impression that there are a lot of families staying at the resort (it offers family units, 2 bedroom and 3 bedrooms) so the restaurant wasn't the nice quiet dining for two! Fortunately we are a family of 4, but my mature teenagers haven't had toddlers hitting them in the back for awhile. We were surprised at the prices which were comparable to the rest of Cook islands.
Saying that, the meal was good. I was a bit offended at having to pay for a bottle of the house tap water. I would have rated 4 for the food. But the overall experience was a 3. However, this isn't the restaurants fault. It is just what now caters to and we weren't aware of that. Service was slow - but they were very busy.
Muri lagoon is a very tourist area. And the place was full and popular. It was a one off visit which was a nice meal. But from our experience I wouldn't think it was a romantic place for two.

We didn't stay at the Pacific Resort but did eat at Sandals, its restaurant. The food was good, tasty and quick to arrive. Be advised that when the restaurant gets near full, they will close it to outside guests (I.e., people not staying at the hotel), so it is highly advisable to book if you are not a guest at the Pacific.

Sat down by the beach, the area was filled with bees. Moved further up so was ok after that. Both my partner and I ordered burgers which tasted decidedly average. Chips were under cooked and once we finished one round of drinks we were not offered another. Setting is nice, but do not recommend the food.
