Innot Hot Springs Health and Leisure Park
Reviewed 10 August 2014

We wanted a different weekend away and found it at Innot Hot Springs Leisure Park. The hot spring pools were relaxing and the hotel had country hospitality with country meals. The staff were helpful, most were backpackers who seemed to love the different way of life away from the crowds. The owners Gary and Roz went out of their way to assist in our stay. We will return.

We expected a health and leisure park! But:
-Dirty pools ( never cleaned, really disgusting)
- mouldy mattress
- only possibility to eat at the pub, but food wasn't tasty at all and too expensive eg. Vegetables tasted like plastic ( or just heated in a microwave )
- no wifi or phone reception
We also talked to a few employees and locals .
Employees have to work for food and accommodation and don't get paid. Most of them are backpackers, hoping to get their second working holiday visa.
They being exploited as a cheap work force.
Roz ( the owner of the place) promises them to sign off their second year visa, althought it's illegal. She also said people get paid, but they won't.
So:
Really disgusting conditions in pool/ park area, but also at the pub
Really bad conditions for backpackers/ employees.

Sadly overpriced, grotty, you had to all run power leads under the neighbours vans to a few central power points, and the whole place is grubby, the pool area was that grubby and uninspiring we chose NOT to get in the water, and it is overpriced...$33.00/night and if you wish to use eftpos expect an extra $2 charge for the privilege.....would not bother!!

stayed in the motel room which was a bit dated and cold at night. the TV was about 50 years old and got one station for a short while and then none. The meals at the pub were good. The hot pools were fabulous and the whole experience was one of total relaxation. Hardly any phone reception and nothing to do but lie in the water and maybe read a book. The teenage son was totally bored so probably would leave him at home next visit. Will be going back.

We spent three nights staying in the motel units section of the park. The units have been updated since we were there last and the grounds have been much improved so in all there has been a lot of improvements done to this leisure park which was great to see. Just loved our stay and the beneficial benefits you get from the hot pools is wonderful. What we also enjoyed was walking that small distance to the hotel across the creek for our evening meal and a complimentary shuttle bus back to the park was offered. If you love the bush, hot pools and a great out back hotel this is the place to stay. There is also the option of staying in the motel units at the hotel. Loved our stay and look forward to going again very soon. Sam and Keren Qld

We camped in the non-powered section of the Park for a special event. We had access to the hot pools of different temperatures for free and were able to have a campsite fire. We received great service and had a fantastic stay with 8 other families. Owners are working on improving the park and it is very evident they have already done a lot of work. Amenities were in good condition and cleaned regularly. I prefer bush camping but this site was the best I have stayed at with plenty of space and flexibility on what you do. I highly recommend a stay here.

Room Tip: Non-powered sites are at the back of the facility and a lot quieter and away from others but still c...

We stayed for 3 nights and we had a choice to select a powered site with a concrete slab, as it was not busy. We choose a site overlooking Nettle Creek, beautiful views of the sunrise.
The lady at reception was not very specific of where the spas were located and no signs of the various temperatures of the pools. I had to ask the people at the park for directions, etc
The spas had were lovely to relax, one spa was out of action. Also there is a Pub nearby.
Just beware there are hot spots around the edges of the creek nearby, it can burn your feet (dont bring your dog to the creek).
