What an amazing place to escape from fast pace of everday life!
Our family took the whole house for surprise birthday and what a
delight it was - Amanda spolit us with log burning fires , fab home
cooked meals and plenty of delicious wines!

Our children where in their element collecting eggs fresh from hens
for our srumptious cooked breakfast!

Beautiful location with lovely bedrooms - plenty of great walks nearby
and fab pub recommendations from Amanda!

A real delight - we will be back x

I think you could visit this fantastic pace at any time of year and be very, very happy. But staying in The Lakes and at Low Graythwaite Hall during a snow flurry was magical. The grounds are really pretty and this is a splendid base for a lakeland holiday. There is a residents lounge with a massive, roaring fire and big, comfy sofas and chairs. The walls of the place must be three feet thick and when you pull the window shutters to and draw the deep curtains the place is toasty and feels impenetrable.

The owners have got this place TOTALLY right. The quality of the building, the rooms, the food, the drink and the little details is absolutely spot on. The food (breakfast and lunch) is cooked for you from fresh ingredients and served at a relaxed pace. There's a good selection of wines and beers - and afternoon tea and a slice of cake was a treat.

There's a lot to say about this magical place, but it's probably better that you go and find it for yourself, rather than read about it on a review web-site. The owners could not be more welcoming, kind and convivial. The best thing I can say about Low Graythwaite Hall is that it is like visiting your friends, and is a very nice alternative to staying in chain hotels.

The worst thing about the place was having to leave. We will definitely go back. Soon !

A charming house comfortably set out and hospitality second to none - tempted - you should be. We were so pleased to discover Low Greythwaite with lovely gardens speckled with interesting topiary and chatty chickens walking around. The house is cosy and welcoming (nice roaring fire in the Drawing Room) and a good nights sleep is guaranteed. Breakfast was tasty and the option to be able to have an evening meal was very gratefully received as we had had a long drive on the two occasions we visited in December. An added bonus that my husband enjoyed were the interesting beers that were on offer prior to dinner. We are returning in February and going back to Low Greythwaite will be the highlight of our trip.

We have just returned from Low Graythwaite Hall, what a wonderful place!
The owners are lovely, friendly and welcoming - nothing is too much trouble. They know their stuff ensuring you have a perfect stay, and welcoming you like friends into their beautiful home.
The Hall is beautiful, atmospheric & full of history but is also comfortable, luxurious & just gorgeous. It's very tastefully decorated with gorgeous rooms and is immaculately kept. There is plenty of space too.Great location
It's hard to describe it just as a B&B - the food is excellent - fabulous breakfast and you can book an equally fabulous evening meal in the beautiful dining room - it's probably clear I can't recommend this place enough!

Room Tip: check them on the website

We became engaged at this venue earlier this year, and the owners were very hospitable. The accommodation was charming and the dining experience was superb. This is a very romantic, secluded B&B and we look forward to returning.

Just returned from a birthday weekend away at Low Graythwaite Hall.
The owners are lovely warm and friendly. They have a fantastic house in a lovely rural part of the lake district and welcome you with open arms to share it with them.
The rooms were perfect. Huge comfy beds..... superbly clean and tastefully decorated and a place we didn't want to leave.
Luxurious!! Well worth a visit.

Room Tip: We had the room called "Tethera" and it was enormous, comfortable and lovely.

We had the greatest pleasure of staying at this stunning B&B in August with family and friends. Wonderful old world charm with modern furnishings and a lovely family feel. It has a beautiful lakeside walk surrounded by amazing countryside. The owners were very friendly and helpful. On request we ordered a beautiful evening meal. All in all i can highly recommend this beautiful establishment. You will not be disappointed!!!!
