This place is one of the finest I have experienced in Norway. Thorough qualities in all aspects from accomodations to food and activities.
As an experienced traveller from Arctic regions to Africa, I must say this place range among the top, not at least giving you the 'sehnsucht' feeling through rough Arctic adventures as well as decent comfort at return.
A place I will return to for renewed joys and warmly recommend to all experienced travellers. ( the place provides both bikes and sea-going Kayaks, as well as guided fishing trips with tremendous catch at exellent prices (at Norwegian compareable prices).

After a day of extremely heavy rain we (a big group of motorcyclists) arrived in this hotel. It felt as if the sun was shining again. Surprisingly big and professional for a remote place like this, surprisingly roomy, nice, modern and friendly. And the food was very good. Exactly what we needed after such a bad day.

You will be impressed by this place. The location is just unique, in their own sort of private bay in a place that most probably was an important harbour for fishers. We rented a sort of small flat, two bed rooms with both bathrooms, a wounderful living room with closeness to the bay and with your "brygge" that gives you access to a nice spot for your kids to fish for crabs. we had a first class dinner, but if staying for longer there are kitchen in the flat we rented. the flat is like a modern, high standard "rorbu", the sheds that used to house boats but that are today turned into accommodation.

This place is comparable to stays at the best hotels I have been to in Norway. It is of cource pricy, as everything in Norway. Bring your kids and rest a boat to take you to the sea. Visit nearby art centres or activity centres for kids, or take the boat to wounderful Andøya.

We would love to come back.

Room Tip: All rooms seem to have seaview.

Excellent hotel located at a beautiful spot on the coastline of Senja. Very friendly service. The rooms are very nice and clean with confortable beds, big bathroom and even a smal kitchen. Fair price for the high standard. The breakfast buffet is above average and you can even cook your own waffels.

This resort is in a beautiful location based around a small harbour.

The set up is confusing. It seems that there is a mixture of rooms in the main building and self catering units in separate buildings. We found out to our surprise that we had been booked into one of the self catering units. This wasn’t a problem as they are done to a very high standard with good views over the harbour. The main room was very comfortable and there was a large and well kitted out kitchen. The bathroom had no windows but was a good size with a powerful shower, underfloor heating, WC and basin. The bedroom was smallish with a small double bed which was comfortable. Oddly there was no hanging space for clothes.

Because we were in a self catering unit there was no housekeeping. The layout was also a little odd; the units can be configured to either one or two bedrooms which means you get a bulky selection of keys.

Breakfast was an extensive and good buffet with hot and cold foods, fresh fruit and a waffle maker.

Dinner was a more mixed affair. On Sunday there is a buffet which was simple but actually quite good (ribs, salad and potatoes for example). But on other nights there is a menu and we thought the standard of cooking was actually quite poor. The burger and chips I had came with oven cooked chips and the bun was foul. Not great.

We were asked to pay in advance which seemed a bit unusual and seemed to take reception by surprise as well. Maybe because we were from overseas?

Overall very enjoyable and recommended but the dinner lets it down. 3.5 stars (4 for the rooms; 3 for restaurant)
