The City of Langford (suburb of Victoria, British Columbia) has allowed the Bear Mountain golf courses to be built in close proximity to a gravel crushing operation and a motor car race track. When my foursome golfed the valley course on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, all that we could hear was reving engines and squealing tires. Until Bear Mountain and the city fixes this problem save your money and golf elsewhere if you are looking for peace and quiet.
