We spent four nights in this lovely accommodation. Every detail has been carefully and lovingly thought out. The garden and the view beyond are exquisite. Andy and Helen are welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts are gourmet standard, and the beds slumberful and indulgent.

This is the 3rd visit to Moorland House for us! It is a very special place to visit as the welcome from Andy and H is so warm and the room is fantastic with some lovely touches. The home cooked breakfast was delicious. It is such a special place that my boyfriend proposed to me in the garden.

We spent a long weekend at Moorland House at the end of October. We were looking for a small B and B,we didnt want a hotel, but with a quality offering in terms of the standard of the room/bed linen, breakfast ingredients etc.... and I can confidently say that Moorland House absolutely met all of these criteria.

Its set in a very beautiful little village with a great character pub, The Falcon, and Post Office.... we even bought some jam from the Carmelite nuns in the convent. Its in a great spot for accessing the surrounding areas like Padstow and Watergate. We will definitely return; a very special place to stay.

Spent a lovely weekend at Moorland house, lovely location,
warm and friendly welcome given by Andy and his wife "H".
They have given a great deal of thought into their business
And this shows in the attention to detail given and every room is spotless.
Andy is very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and even took time out to show us his chickens and ducks, the eggs of which we had for breakfast. If you are staying in the area do not miss out on this little gem. Sue and Nige Whitehurst

We wanted a break from usual hussle and bussle and this is exactly what we got, friendly greeting by the owner on arrival. Room was perfect clean and modern but mixed with character. Location was ideal for all local amenities as buses run every hour on the hour and nearest beach was 10 mins by car. Every thing was thought of right down to home made chocolates in the room. Perfect weekend break would definatly stay again.
