This B&B cannot be faulted loved it, beautiful location and setting, fantastic host, breakfast and the home cooking was fab. Not sure if it would have been the same if there had been other guests upstairs as the guest sun room was directly off our bedroom but it was fab.

This is one of the most beautiful bed and breakfasts I have ever stayed in. Set is the picture perfect village of St Mawgan, it's the ideal location for a weekend escape. Andy went out of his way to make us feel welcome and the breakfast was delicious (eggs from their own hens!). Our en-suite room we extremely comfortable, beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and the home made biscuits in our room at the end of the day were a perfect little treat. I would also recommend a visit to the Falcon Inn, 2 mins walk from Moorland House.

Moorland House is one of the best Bed and Breakfasts we have ever stayed at. The owner was very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Moorland House is in a beautiful location and of the highest standard. The double room was a good size with a lovely en-suite. We also had access to a private lounge where breakfast was also served. The breakfast was fantastic. Our overall stay was very enjoyable and would definantly go back!!!

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at this luxury B&B. Andy was very welcoming & throughout the stay went the extra mile to ensure our stay was memorable. I am a bit reluctant to tell you how good it is in case I can't get in next time I come to Cornwall! It is in the small village of St Mawgan between Padstow & Newquay and close to Watergate Bay (Home to Jamie Oliver's Fifteen Restaurant, the Beach hut & the Extreme Academy surf school as well as the beautiful beach) and Mawgan Porth. It is about 3 minutes drive from Newquay Airport but don't let this deter you as it is very peaceful. There are 2 bedrooms - one twin & one double both ensuite & located in a newly built self contained extension. The double room leads into a sun lounge where breakfast is served & the twin room is above this with a verandah & outside staircase connecting into the sun lounge. No expense has been spared - from the oak furniture & flooring, to the flat screen TVs, underfloor heating, wonderful landscaped gardens and the best bit - a huge fish tank set into the cornish slate floor in the sun lounge!! There are extra little touches that make the difference such as homemade biscuits, a cafetiere for coffee with fresh milk in a dinky little vacuum flask, small box of Belgium chocolates and toweling robes in the rooms.
Andy let us borrow 2 body boards for the kids as we hadn't brought ours as we flew into Newquay airport & our kids loved playing with theirs & putting the hens to bed (they had only got them the day before so hopefully it won't be long before they are supplying fresh eggs).
The breakfast was very good and cooked to order using local farm produce. There was a lovely fruit platter, jams & marmalade made by the chap that runs St Mawgan village store, delicious smoked salmon & scrambled egg and gorgeous little sausages.
Thanks again Andy & H and we hope to see you again soon
