What a lovely little cottage . It is based in a quaint village with a brilliant pub. The cottage is traditional and has all the amenities you need. Would defiantly recommend this.
We arrived early morning which we were thankful for.
The cottage although small has everything you need.
We found that having no control of the heating a bit of a problem, this was because the thermostatically controlled radiator valves didn't work properly thus making it too hot or too cold at times.
We were disappointed that we never met one of the owners Cameron, we asked Julie if it was possible to be taken to Padstow on a certain date as it says in their welcome book they will beat any taxi price, this was for a pre booked lunch for a special occasion, she said she would sort this, we never saw her or her husband again that week.
One thing that definitely needs addressing is a security light down the side of the house, it's dangerous and slippy with the green algae on the floor.
A definite plus is the sky on the small tv, once the owner sorted it out and the WiFi is also very good.
A curtain over the front door wouldn't go a miss with it being next to the bathroom.
St.mawgan is a pretty village, certainly recommend visiting the tearooms.
This was our first stay at Little ramwood and definitely won’t be our last. Julie and Cameron were thoughtful and friendly hosts. The accommodation was very peaceful and had everything we could need and more. The village has a real community spirit and a great pub (which we used most evenings) within easy walking distance, although down a steep hill. Highly recommend, thank you.
Little Ramwood is a lovely cottage in the tiny village of St Mawgan, a delightful spot in Cornwall. I very much enjoyed the peace and solitude afforded me by the hosts, Julie and Cam, who were welcoming but not intrusive. The cottage was clean, fully appointed with everything I could possibly have needed and in a position that enabled me to visit all the towns and villages I had set my heart on: Tintagel, St Austell, Bodmin, Truro, Egloshayle and Wadebridge are a few that spring to mind. It is an ideal base for exploring Cornwall. I would definitely recommend it.
Lovely little annexe, perfect for two. Delightful bed sit with lovely kitchen and
bathroom. Everything you could possibly need is provided including quite a
comprehensive stock of paperbacks.
beautiful peaceful village within easy reach of A39 which appears to go pretty
much everywhere. The Japanese Garden in the village looked particularly
interesting but unfortunately we ran out of time! It's a must for next time.
Hosts were very helpful and welcoming.
Ramwood is very comfortable and relaxing and located in a wonderful place. We always look forward to coming to St Mawgan with many places to visit within easy reach. Mawgan Porth is a smashing beach with nice places to eat, it's a excellent holiday spot .
