Shanghai occupies a commanding position on a junction and sets high expectations. Sadly these are not lived up to.
As with most eat-as-much-as-you-can buffets, the only time you encounter staff is when they seat you, bring you your drinks and collect your money. This is entirely usual with this business model.
The food is just like any other eat-as-much-as-you-can chinese buffet. There is nothing special about it, but equally it is not terrible either.
As with other eat-as-much-as-you-can buffets, the food is not piping hot because it's been sitting under the lamps for so long.
For €15, it really isn't bad but it is just so average. I was with a group of colleagues who are at least 15 years younger than me.
As I've got older, my palate demands more and so I would not recommend or return.
Do bear in mind though, that for youngsters and families this is probably a great experience - just not for me.
