“Second rate internet and poor uncomfortable sun beds”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 June 2014 via mobile

The staff are very friendly and helpful, there was a wide variety of good food every day.
My only complaints was the internet connection was second rate when I could log on to it which is a very big let down for a five star hotel, I couldn't connect to it at all from my bed room.
The sun beds were not comfortable at all, there were no matts, is was not able to read my book in comfort as the metal bar of the sun beds frame would dig in to my head and the sun beds were not long enough as my feet would hang over the edge. The umbrellas were blown over quite a few times.

This really is a 5 star hotel. It is incredibly clean and spacious - the bedrooms are really outstanding in terms of size and accommodation. We also had a very large balcony overlooking the pool which was great.

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful (and particular mention to Mihaela and Jimmy in the Pool bar who really made you feel welcome).

It's a big hotel (380 rooms) which we don't normally like - but it never felt crowded: we never queued in the restaurant or at the bar and we always got a sun lounger no matter what time we turned up to the pool or beach.

I absolutely recommend this hotel for a relaxing and luxurious break

The Princess Andriana has everything you could want in one place and is immaculate throughout! We would like to say a special thank you to all of the staff who were extremely friendly and hardworking, especially the entertainment team who are a credit to the hotel.

We stayed in a superior suite which had a comfy four poster bed, tea and coffee making facilities, two toilets, Jacuzzi bath, shower, living room, two TVs (unfortunately only English news channels) mini bar (replenished every 3 days). Our room was at the front of the hotel and had a sea view! It did not get the sun on the balcony, but was a lot quieter than the rooms over-looking the pool. If you want to sun worship there are plenty of sun-beds and parasols available at the pool or private sand/shingle/pebble beach. Both of which had snack bars open all day for food and drink.

The food in the main restaurant was what you would expect from a buffet, fairly samey each day, but extremely fresh with lots of choice. The service for drinks and cleaning tables was second to none. You could always find something to take your fancy, breakfast was a mix of continental and full English, lunch and dinner offered local dishes, fish, meat, pasta, rice, pizza, chips, salad, fruit etc. For dinner men have to where trousers, they will get turned away wearing three quarter length trousers.

The al a carte restaurant was nice, but some of the food was not to our taste, we also thought that the ambience could have been improved as it felt quite casual for a fine dining experience.

The entertainment team keep the kids busy as well as adults with plentiful activities such as football, bocca and volleyball. There are also many free activities to enjoy at your leisure such as tennis, mini golf and ping pong. As well as those you can pay for in the games room such as pool tables and air hockey. Water sports were payable on the beach for very reasonable prices, the two of us went on a jet ski for 60 euros and the staff took many pictures on our camera free of charge for us.

There is a shop on site which has everything you could want for a reasonable price. A 5 minute walk up the road will take you to a supermarket and a handful of shops selling souvenirs.

We visited Lindos which is well worth a visit. It is a lovely traditional Greek village with plenty of shops, restaurants, amazing views and an Arktropolis. We got a cab which was a 20 minute journey (40 euros return) or you can take the bus which takes an hour (5 euros return). You also have the option to rent cars from the shop on site which are very reasonably priced eg. a small car costing 35 euros for the day.

We would not hesitate to stay here again and will definitely be returning.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a superior suite they are very luxurious and spacious with Jacuzzi bath. Rooms at the...

This was our third holidays on Kiotari and first in this hotel. We love Rhodes. Had a holidays in a hotel in May- june 2014 year during 24 days. Every day stays in a hotel was wonderful, departing was not desirable. All is very careful thought out it is organized: rooms, food, entertainments high-level. Clean, comfortable room with a wonderful design. A food is quality and various, some dishes did not even recur, it is needed to visit a restaurant a la carte, also very deliciously. Entertaining programs and spa zone : we were in a hotel with a young child, this was our first rest, when all of us (parents and child) had a rest. Thank you enormous to Agne and Julia from our son, to Ann, Andy, Sara and other guys from an animation group for a fitness! Also in times of stay in a hotel we were witnesses two important for two events: two wedding was conducted, one of them princesses Andriana, it was perfectly!
We thank the personnel of hotel for wonderful rest. We hope to meet again!

I stayed in this hotel a few weeks ago for 7 nights with my boyfriend for a relaxing break in the sun and it didn't disappoint, but to make it easier for you, than reading an essay by me, I will list the pros and cons to the hotel and you can then decide for yourself.

Pros:
Amazing pool area - plenty of sunbeds always somewhere to lay, massive gorgeous pool.
Amazing food and great choice too, you never get bored with the food and it is yummy.
Great bar and restaurant staff - super friendly and welcoming, especially Dimi at lobby bar :)
Brilliant facilities, everything you need - tennis courts, spa, beach bar, crazy golf etc...
Very clean everywhere
Big, bright, clean bedrooms with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!
Lifeguard is great, helpful and very friendly.

Cons:
The bedroom doors could be a bit more soundproof - sometimes you could hear drunkards coming back to their rooms in the early hours so bring ear plugs maybe if it bothers you.
Wifi - It basically hardly ever worked, even if you pay for the higher speed, they have major issues with it, so be warned if you like being attached to your phone!
Reception staff - The women are a little snooty and rude - e.g. not helpful when complaining about the wifi, which was most days! The guy on there is a gentleman and very friendly though.
The A la carte restaurant isn't anything special, so I wouldn't bother paying for a 2nd sitting, this could be just our opinion but we found it very disappointing. The ground floor buffet restaurant is just excellent.
Very miserable women at the till in the supermarket onsite, I didn't take it personally ;o)

All in all a great stay and I would definitely recommend it for a relaxing few days in the sunshine.

Room Tip: I would choose a sea view room, as it is a lot quieter at night. As the pool view rooms would be noi...
