Beautiful hotel.
Our 5th visit to Rhodes as a family of 5, but first trip to The Princess Andriana Resort and Spa.
Although the hotel is a 90 minute transfer from the airport, it's we'll worth it. Kiotari is beautiful much quieter than the north of the Island.

The rooms are modern, spacious and well maintained.
The Staff are outstanding, some of the best that we have encountered.
The lobby bar staff were of a very high standard, courteous, polite and efficient, ensuring that guests were served in a fair and orderly fashion.

I have to agree with other TripAdvidor reviews, that the Animation Team are amazing! A big thank you to Guilia and Ricky, who went the extra mile to ensure that our daughter Sophie felt included but not overwhelmed.

The pool area was great, plenty of sunbeds, a bit on the hard side perhaps and not very comfortable, but only a minor issue.

The whole ambiance within the hotel felt just tight, with music softly playing discreetly in different corners of the complex.

My only complaint about he hotel would be the food, general evening dining experience and dress code for men.
Breakfast and lunch were adequate. However the evening meal was a disappointment. A strict dress code for men, no shorts, I would far rather see men in smart tailored shorts and flip flops, than jeans and trainers, not what I would define as smart!
The evening meal felt like a canteen experience, often with long queues for speciality dishes and often cold tasteless food! The restaurant is beautiful, but let down by the quality of food.

The hotel is currently expanding, I certainly hope that the restaurant increases in size to ensure that guests are adequately catered for.

Despite the minor gripes, the hard sunbeds and poor dining experience, the positives at this hotel by far outweigh the negatives!
Overall a wonderful relaxing holiday at a very beautiful hotel.
We would definitely return...

Just returned from 10 days and what a fabulous place this is!! To list the positives, fabulous modern rooms with everything you could need, very comfortable beds and pillows, whole place is immaculately clean, brilliant staff and service (especially Mihaela at the pool bar, Nicos in the lounge and Simon the lifeguard), the MOST amazing animation team I have ever come across (would really have to name them all), loads going on for the children, plenty of sunbeds, good food (always something you can choose), lovely a la carte restaurant, beautiful swimming pool area, great mixture of guests with lots of nationalities (mainly english, italian and french). If I really have to be picky and comment on the negatives then - the pool is 1.5m everywhere which made it difficult for the kids that are competent swimmers to play as they couldn't touch the floor anywhere, beach shingle so you would need shoes, dinner and lunch becomes a bit "samey" but as far as I'm concerned that's to be expected after 11 days and thought the mens dinner dress code was a bit silly. Loved the swimming in the turquoise sea on Lindos glass bottom boat trip that is more of a speed boat - recommended! No idea why any bad reviews of this place its fab!!!

Room Tip: Rooms nearest reception overlooking the pool can be a bit noisy until 11 ish because of the live mus...

Real nice hotel, big main pool.and we had r own pool outside r room.was great. But the food was not that great very same food every day. And there was a dress code on the evening.so one evening I wore long shorts jean shorts, u can ware long normal jeans, but when I went in we got turned away and the woman was very off/rude with us,which was quite embarrassing. I didn't to take long bottoms in Greece in August which was 34 heat at this time.also a few evenings b4 we was allowed to go in, and I saw about 15 guys who had sporty shorts on!!! So was very off putting about coming back.well we won't. And for a 5star hotel the food was not that great at all!!!

This is a great looking hotel with great staff and great rooms, the main pool is big and the indoor pool is a great size, our room had it's own pool which made the holiday great for us, what did mess the holiday up was the food, its very poor when looking at the hotel, it looks like a five star but the food in no better than a three at best, it's always the same food and it doesn't have much flavour. as it was August in Greece one of us didn't pack jeans or long trousers and this meant not having access to get in to the main restaurant in the night so we had to go out and spend money on food, this left us feeling very bad almost like second class people not the sort of great holiday feeling we wanted. Also a late check out (as our flight is at midnight) would cost of €140 seems a bit on the hight side and don't forget at that price we can't get dinner they won't let us in!

Dear Guest,

We would like to thank you for choosing our Princess Andriana Resort & Spa for your holidays and for sharing your experience here in Tripadvisor.

We were pleased to read that you enjoyed our facilities and services and more in particular our spacious main pool, our state of the art spa facilities with the indoor pool and your private pool.
On the other hand we feel very sorry that out food experience did not meet your expectations as we are proud of the presentation of our buffets and the choice of food. We will certainly discuss this issue but we feel that you’re the fact that you could not the access to our Main Restaurant Spondi due to our dress code has certainly limited your options.
Regarding the dress code policy please note that during evening meals we do have this dress code in order to have a nice atmosphere in the restaurant and all our guests to feel comfortable with it. Please note that this information for the dress code is communicated to all our travel cooperators and our official website.
Lastly, regarding our late checkout prices please note that according to our room rate they are not higher from the competition; furthermore our guests can enjoy the All Inclusive Program even after their checkout (on the same day until their departure) so your complain occurred due to lack of information and not due to our policy.

We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future,

Kind Regards,

Princess Andriana Resort & Spa Team.

Just returned from a weeks holiday with all the family and were really impressed with the Hotel and all of its staff.Hotel reviews are always very personal and I appreciated that sometimes people do have bad experiences, BUT why anyone should write a negative report about this hotel mystifies me.The Hotel itself is very Modern, bright and well planned.Rooms are of a very high standard with free mini-bar and excellent facilities.Cleaners were excellent and you would have to go along way to find better. With all Inclusive Hotels catering for the masses is never going to be easy especially when everything is all inclusive. You are never going to get a-la-carte standards,BUT there was something for all the family, plenty of choice and well presented.Wine at meal times was very drinkable, which is not always the case with Greek wine.
Tables were cleared regularly by a very attentive staff. The pool area is excellent BUT as ever it was a case of 'if you cannot beat them, join them'scenario with getting sun loungers. As other reports have pointed out the pool is of uniform depth throughout which could be a problem if you have young children.Although there is a sheltered 'Baby' pool.As with most resorts there is a quieter end if you do not prefer the daily entertainments provided by the excellent, enthusiastic and very friendly animation team.If you prefer the Beach, here there are plenty of sun beds on a pebble and course grey sandy beach. The sea is very clear but does drop down quite quickly. Watersports etc are available plus there is a very convenient Beach bar/cafe which again is all inclusive.Evening entertainment was some of the best that we have experienced. The amphitheatre area was very modern and the shows were a mixture of Comedy ,dance and Music. We went every night with the children and were kept amused by a very talented animation team. All in all we had a great holiday and would seriously consider returning

Room Tip: Sea view rooms face away from the pool and tend to be quieter.
