Arrive around 7 PM to watch the Sunset from your table, direct on the arrivals from the Mastichari Ferry. Ask for the fish portion, a Dorada with veggies perfect for a evening meal, with a carafe rosé and enjoy. 15€ the meal. Ask for a Tsipuro on the rocks as digestive, sometimes complimentary.

“great place”
Reviewed 23 August 2014

What is not to like about this place? it's a proper traditional restaurant in Mastichari-local cuisine right next to the harbour-lovely service, they know how to treat their customers. And a juke box!!!!!

“Nikos is a bad Influence (: ”
Reviewed 1 August 2014 via mobile

Great little restaurant in mastichari this was our second visit and again it wasn't a disappointment.
We went almost everyday last year as we stayed in a hotel close by so really got to know Nikos and his complementary shots as he welcomed our support for coming back. We felt bad as we could only get down once this year as we were in a hotel in kos town which had loads to do.
He remember my boyfriend from being a young boy and this year remembered us from last year and realised id changed my hair. This meant everyone he came to see us he brought his bottle and three shot glasses for us to enjoy.
The food is gorgeous I swopped from the spaghetti and the carbonara which was always hot and plentiful. The milkshake was to for for with big scoops of Icecream. Make sure you ask for the mythos in a large glass as it comes straight from the freezer and keeps it icy cold.
Great atmosphere, great staff and great views watching the ferrys coming from Kalymos.
Defiantly making the trip wherever we stay! Well worth it.

“Our first meal”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

Our first meal in Mastihari. We went for lunch and had a superb Greek salad, simple grilled fish and ice cold beer, washed down with a complimentary ouzo......all delicious and served with friendliness and humour!

Harassed to be taken inside, then given almost no service (despite one lady who seemed Australian being very nice). Food was brought out suspiciously quickly. No option to finish our starters before our mains.

Nobody finished their mains, which we were berated for ("we like empty plates here!").

Poor service, poor food, prices over other local and better tavernas. No tip and a hurry to leave unfortunately.
