Great hotel, many space, good food, very quiet and a very friendly staff. Very beautiful big garden.
Even with a full occupation (+- 1.100 tourist) you can easily find a quiet place in the garden or at the swimmingpool (no rush in the morning to get a seat)
The hotel is a little bit secluded from the nearest villages. Renting a car is recommended if you want to visite the island but 5 resto + 4 swimmingpools (+ 1 indoor) can also give you a great pleasure.
We have been 9 times to the hotel and still the same staff is working there. It creates a friendly environment.
RECOMMENDED for couples and family with children (not so for solo). At 11,00 pm the music in the bars stops (you have a disco underground in a cellar)

Room Tip: Choose a room in a bungalow and not in the main building (bungalow : 6 or 8 rooms on two levels = go...

We have just returned from a wonderful 10 days at Neptune Hotels where we had a wonderful holiday.
We travelled with Inspired Luxury who arranged everything, including an upgrade to an apartment, full board at half-board rate and taxi transfers.
The accommodation was spacious, spotless, maintained daily and offered beautiful views across fields to the sea and nearby island.
The choice of food was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful, the grounds immaculate and extensive, there was never a shortage of sun-loungers either by one of the 4 pools, in the gardens or on the beach!
Various activities are arranged each day and some of the team put on high-standard evening shows, such as Les Mis, We Will Rock You, Mama Mia, Lion King.
We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and Inspired Luxury.

Just got back from a lovely week at the Neptune Resort.

This is very much a family hotel. A large complex of low rise apartment blocks, with beautifully kept grounds, various pools and easy access to the beach. Probably we wouldn't recommend for a couples hotel.

The rooms are simple and functional with essentials like safe, fridge (not mini bar), tv and air conditioning. Some nice touches like a plug in mosquito replier and enough tablets for the week. Perhaps the rooms are more of a 4 star hotel rather than 5 star but otherwise very good.

If you are not planning on venturing further a field then definitely look for a half board option deal.

Things which are not bad but good to know if you are thinking staying here..

1/ It's quite an isolated location so consider car hire or taxi costs if you wish to go outside the hotel. Mastichari is apparently a 10 euro taxi ride or 40mins on the beach however we didn't venture that far as with would have to carry a little one all that way too. Perhaps consider bringing a child carrier if you can spare the room. There is a bus service to Kos town for 2.90 euros or a taxi will cost 10 euros.

2/ Found the restaurants choice limited with the little one, and prices are quite expensive. Another reviewer mentioned the Tam Tam beach restaurant about 5 mins walk down the beach. Which has great sunset views, food and is half the cost of the hotel taverna.

3/ As other reviews state most of the guests are German.

Many thanks to the staff for great stay.

One suggestion to the hotel owners, you have some beautiful sunsets perhaps you could consider a champagne bar or carte near the beach?

This hotel will offer you the chance to relax in beautiful peaceful surroundings. The rooms are in low rise buildings that offer a private balcony and spotless interior. The views from the gardens are superb. There is plenty of shade if you want it and lots of sunbeds. There are activities if you wish to join in. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The food is good and there is lots of choice. My daughter recommended this hotel as a great place to chillout and I can certainly agree.

As a family with young kids we were happily by this beach resort
Rooms were modern nice and clean. Each bedroom had air conditioning.
It is a big resort but quite spread out. so there were enough swimming pools and sun beds around them such as we didn't have to fight every morning to find spaces
You have 2 beaches : 1 more for water sport and 1 more to have a peaceful rest while kids play
Staff was nice and helpful
Sport equipment was good
The main negative point for me was the food. On half board, there is only 1 buffet restaurant which is fully included (except drinks of courses) for bfast and dinners. you have 3 other restaurants on the resorts but you only get a 50% discount on your bill if you are on HB . However you will quickly realise prices on the menu are the double of what they should be( 1 scoop ice cream @5.5euro!!).
As a result you end up with 60euro bill for 2 adults and 2 kids, while you have already paid for The HB...annoying!
No wonder why these restaurants are empty ...
At lunchtime the options are very limited.
The animations (kids clubs, shows, entertainment. Etc) are mainly in German but everybody spoke English. For us the German aspect of this resort was not an issue.

For those who want to go out a bit, Kos city centre is 20min away by taxi(eur25)/or bus.

overall we really had a nice time, and will consider going back to this resort one day

We have chosen this location since we were looking for a comfortable getaway from the Germany "summer". Even if the weather turned out to be just a little warmer than in Germany, we were quite surprised by the hotel. The resort is really beautiful and invites to relaxing walks along the beach or just taking a rest in one of the sun loungers enjoying the charming view over the Aegean sea. Everything in this resort is well maintained, there is sufficient space for everyone which allows everyone to find a place with a little privacy. The food was outstanding! I have been to quite some 5 star hotels already, but this was just great! Big choice of everything - lots of fish and meat but also for me as vegetarian a changing variety of food. Buffet was refilled even 10 min before dinner time ended. Waiters and waitresses were friendly and thoughtful.
We stayed 1 week which is enough to relax and discover the island. Close to the hotel there is a super market where you can buy drinks and snacks cheaper than in the resort. Worth to have a look here. Also there is a bus stop nearby connecting the hotel to all major cities on the island.
We will probably not go to Kos again (since there is not so much to see) but if we would we would go to Neptune Hotel again!

Room Tip: Try to get a room in the upper floors of the building - these are more quiet.

We came here on our honeymoon knowing that this would be the largest hotel that we would be staying in, but we were not anticipating the enormity of the resort. It felt like a whole army platoon could fit and train on the property! The staff was bitter and not friendly throughout our stay. The hotel did have nice pools but the beach was not useable & the hotel is so far away from Kos Town that you must rent a car to get around. Would not recommend to any American looking for a place to tour around Kos. Also, it was strange to be at a hotel dominated by Germans.
