Villa Kynthia has only 5 guest rooms, so it's more like a B&B. Our room retained the antique light fixtures, wood floors and antique rugs. The bed was comfortable and the bath/plumbing were updated and modern. The courtyard and pool are WONDERFUL. Maria, who is the concierge/cook/receptionist was the BEST. The breakfast spread was the most delicious every. Maria made something from scratch every morning, plus there is always yogurt, fruit, meats and breads. If you like quiet and quaint you will adore this little jewel.

Room tip: I loved our room with a balcony overlooking the street so we could people watch.

We loved our stay at Villa Kynthia. It was exactly what we were hoping for - a cute little family run hotel with genuine old worldy, classic decor (some lovely antiques / antique furniture) and a warm welcome. Maria was amazing looking after us throughout and the owner Corinna was extremely hospitable and attentive. They went out of their way with giving local recommendations, helping with car hire, fussing the kids etc. The room was as expected from the photos on iEscape - full of old school charm. Likewise, the courtyard and pool area was very pleasant and as expected from the photos. Breakfast was great with ample choice considering they only had 5 rooms to cater for.

As a minor nitpick for perspective, the courtyard furniture was a little tired / not completely clean, though sat under the amazing old pine I imagine it would easily get a bit grubby with the pine needles etc constantly falling out. This is a minor point and bother us too much but just setting a realistic picture for those who might look for everything to be impeccable at a boutique hotel. In a similar vein our bathroom could be seen as a little tired / the aircon units were clearly very old. For us, this comes with the territory of the rustic charm / v small hotel vibe that appealed to us.

Overall a cracking place, perfectly located within a lovely quaint little village with plentiful tavernas and several walkable beach options. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and may well return at some point.

Villa Kynthia is a beautiful quiet Boutique B&B in the quiet and picturesque seaside village of Panormos. The rooms are authentic and comfortable, with air conditioning and free wifi. They are cleaned daily, and towels and bedlinen is changed every 3 days unless you request it more frequently.

There are only 5 rooms in the house, so it is a lovely peaceful place to stay. The beach by the harbour is only a 4 minute stroll away, and there are lovely taverna's and shops on the door step.

Breakfast is fixed daily by the lovely Maria, who will also make Greek pancakes, rice pudding and omelets on request - nothing is too much trouble here.

Breakfast is served in the courtyard with freshly squeezed orange juice, fruit, greek yoghurt, bread, cake, biscuits, cheese and meats.

There is a small pool and sunbed area in the courtyard too, perfect for families, but it is very deep, so bring armbands for weak swimmers.

We recommend using Repel in the courtyard as there are mosquitos about!

This place is perfect for couples and families - it is a quiet village so this is not the place for groups of teenagers - there is no loud music or nightclubs - BLISS!!

Room tip: We stayed in Oddyssos, which was large,air-conditioned and quiet with it's own balcony and large private bathroom en-suite.

We've just celebrated 13 years of marriage. As a surprise my husband booked a two night stay at villa Kynthia, where we stayed on our honeymoon . Having travelled from Santorini and had a two hour drive to get to there we were extremely disappointed to find that our room that my husband had reserved and paid a deposit for back in February had been let to someone else and they were fully booked. But they had kindly booked us into a local hotel using 30 euros of our deposit to reserve us a room. So I'm writing this at 2:30 a.m listening to the base music coming from the local taverna. I'm looking forward to sharing a romantic breakfast in the hotel cafe, and not in a beautiful peaceful garden. We do have two plastic chairs just outside our room, on the roadside with a sea view just beyond the car park. At least we can see our car from here! The lovely midnight swim is out of the question, as we would have to fight off all the plastic inflatables to get into the pool. I hope the people who have been given our room are having a lovely time and write a fantastic review about their stay. We have wonderful memories of our stay there and would not want to put people off visiting. But be prepared, even with copies of emails confirming your resveration will not guarantee your booking. Talking of emails, it would be nice for my husband to get a reply from today's email, requesting the rest of our deposit back please. It would have also been nice for you to have even tried to email us with regards to the changes to our booking. Hey ho life goes on, it's now 3 am and the music has stopped at last, time to sleep and start dreaming of where we will go next year to celebrate our anniversary. Take our euros and create happy memories elsewhere me thinks.

My wife and I could not have been happier with our stay at the Villa Kynthia. It was comfortable, clean, and ideally-located. The staff and owner went out of their way to enhance our stay. Would return in a minute.
