First off, don’t pay attention to the pictures online.... they DO NOT do them justice!! We booked thinking, it’s just a few days, it’ll do. But we opened the door and we were super impressed. Even though it’s a small studio it it very well laid out and quite spacious. Large entry that kept all our gear and bags all tucked away. Huge bathroom!! Living area is MUCH bigger than it looks online. Super comfortable. Kitchenette was well equipped. We brought a crockpot so the lack of oven was not important. Being right at the foot of the lift was really nice. The pool and hot tub are at their main site about a 2 minute drive. Sooooo well maintained!! Lovely place all around. And the staff is super friendly!!

We have stayed at Chalets Montmorency several times in the past twenty years, and it never disappoints. The prices in the off season are amazing: a full one or two bedroom condominium for well under $100 per night! Accomodations are not fancy, but include everything you would want: large beds, modern bathroom, fully-equipped kitchen, nice dining area, large screen tv, inviting fireplace (which must be nice in winter). Decor is basic, maybe a bit dated, though they seem to be renovating units every time we're there.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is lovely: a bit isolated, about a half hour north of Quebec City. It's a pretty good drive into the city, but the road is quite nice, and passes through many interesting villages and sights along the St. Lawrence.
We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Pros - This was a great place for a discount price. The location is less than a five minute drive to the hill, the facilities were clean and there are relatively few rooms on the property so there was no trouble getting in the hot tub after skiing. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons - The decor is dated but quaint, the kitchen was not particularly well equipped and the wi-fi was incredibly slow (basic web pages wouldn't load) particularly in the evening. We will definitely stay here again but I really hope they upgrade the wi-fi before we do.

The reception person was accommodating and helpful, check in was quick. Our accommodations were perfect for our three couples, three large rooms with their own full washrooms. Kitchen had everything we needed. Fireplace was nice, we bought logs from the front desk. There was lots of storage for our ski equipment. The pool area was nice but crowded at times. Would be nice to have an hour in the evening for adult only time. The ski hill was a little far to walk so we drove there which was a 2 minute drive up the back street. The reception desk organized our taxi pickup from our room to Quebec City and back. Which I would highly recommend if you plan on having a few drinks, also parking is limited when your vehicle has a ski rack on. We will definitly go back and I would recommend the chalets to anyone wanting to be close to the hill and clean comfortable accommodations.

Room Tip: Rooms that face the hill, have a great view. If travelling with a group, the 3 bedroom 3 bath is well worth it.
