We stayed for 6 fantastic nights in November. Dianne could not have been more helpful in booking the trips we wanted - don't book a thing before your visit. Breakfasts were terrific with a wide selection of fresh fruit some of which we had never seen before. My wife was 'hooked' on the Greek yoghurt and passion fruit, and I an now a mango lover.
Everywhere is so clean and tidy - the result of Dianne's sweeping at every opportunity.
You really need a car - 10-15 minutes into Cairns, but after a modest walk, there's a bus service too.
There were several higher than high spots during our stay. The trip up to Cape Tribulation which Dianne recommended; the night walk in the rainforest which Dianne booked; the Kuranda train and sky rail, also booked by Dianne. Finally, skinny dipping in the infinity pool looking out to the rainforest - in the rain - on our last day.
If you are thinking of staying here, don't delay, you won't be sorry.
